3 Retention Deals

My 18 month contract ends in January so I called 3 to find out my options.

I told them I was happy with my existing phone so they offered me -

900 minutes or texts
3000 3 to 3 minutes
3 GB internet access

on a 12 month SIM only flexible plan (whereby I can upgrade to another phone at any time)

at a cost of £6/month.

Just received my paperwork and the deal is even better ..... 5000 3 to 3 minutes.

wow thats a hell of deal . did they ring you before you got the pac codes , i too have 2 lines but like alot of people here there only offering me what online for new customers , very disapointing.

I hve 3 contracts with them and never had a problem with them been very very happy for the last 4 years...UNTIL NOW! my 1st line that i have had for 4 years on mix and match 500 is due to end 19th nov, i called them yesterday for deals and was pushed and pused for an iphone on the one plan...er no! she was disgusted that i didnt like iphones, so the best i got was the samsung galaxy mini on a 24m contract for the same that i am paying now (never more then £20.00pm in total i pay £76.00pm to them for my contract minimum)...!!!!!! i can go and buy one for £84.00

Called again today after more info under my belt and knowing what i wanted, HTC sensation...after 35min of being put on hold whilst looking for the best deal, then trying to make me change my mind for a higher value phone??? he came up with.......wait for it £35pm

it just gets worse everytime i call!!
they will be on less on the 19th nov

That's what they were doing to me. Ask for a pac code. Expect a call from the "benefits" department the day after you get sent your pac code

IF ONLY THEY WOULD GIVE ME THE CODE......they just keep offering something else....GRRRRR tomorrow is the day i stand up and say enough is enough!!! deal or no deal!!!!

That's what 3 do. Take the code and wait till they call you.

WELL...47min of AGAIN being offered "FANTASTIC OFFERS" to a VIP customer (LOL so i was told!!) He must have thought i was thick, had the three web page open whole time i was on the phone checking every deal he offered....Samsung Ace, Sony Ericsson Xperia....all offers that can be signed up to via the website.

so my 4 years and 3 contracts with them are worth nothing, i actually felt quite sad when i asked...so there is no deal that you can do for me? and asked to end my 4 year relationship with them lol I even had to remind him for my PAC code, he didnt think i wanted to keep my number...ITS A GOLD NUMBER!!!

Anyway as sad as i am at leaving i now need to start seriously looking at a new deal!!

Just got off the phone to the retentions team as my mum's PAC code was due to expire next week. They weren't willing to match any other company's deals and weren't offering anything remotely interesting - but after about 30 mins of 'negotiation' with me repeatedly saying that we were wasting each others time - he offered us an acceptable deal.

12 month flexible contract - so mum can upgrade when her phone finally dies or a better deal becomes available.

300 mix and match mins/texts
5000 three to three mins
2.5GB internet for £5.00 a month. :j

Quite pleased with that and at least we don't have to worry about porting over her number or any messy cashback deals.

i just got finished with 3 finally , anyways after 3 long phones calls over the last months , i have 2 lines both of which are now out of contract , anyways they offered me this

500 mix and match mins/texts
5000 three to three mins
2.5gb internet for £5.00 month on a 12 month flexi deal , i took it for both lines .
