What about £22/m for a 'free' Galaxy SII, One Plan for 18 months? Anyone getting similar/better/worst deals?

I would LOVE a deal like that, what sort of plan are you on now to get that?

Couldnt get anything out of three - have taken my PAC code - gone with the Affordable mobiles £129.99 upfront £17 per month for 500 mins 5000 txts 1gb internet with 3 - Also £60 quidco (which is paid quite quickly with affordable mobiles 7 weeks). Samsung Galaxy S2
The only hassle I will have is porting my number over from 3 to PAYG then back to 3 again.

You got offered that? Those cheeky !!!!!!!s offered me £25/m on the one plan for the SII on 24 months! They wouldn't budge!

What did you say/how long were you on the phone to them for?
  • So I have 2 lines; On one line im on 900 talk, got offered £25 x 24 months for the Galaxy S2 on the one plan. Fair enough.
But on the other line (the one I have 300 mix and match on) I couldn't get anything better than £30 p/m for 500 mins on the Galaxy S2

Should I hold on till the last day of my contract?

As a new customer I got £17 per month for the 500 mins plan - £129 upfront (although £60 quidco) - through affordable mobiles. I think this should be the minimum to ask for.

But that's through a dealer you see, and 3 are really reluctant to match prices with dealers.

But that is a good deal you've posted. Hows it working out for you? I've never bought from a dealer before, was there any hassle? Did quidco track straightaway?

Yes tracked straight away - phone arrived next day and all up and running.

I even phoned 3 when I was up and running asking if they could add some 3to3 mins to my plan which they agreed to do for free (300)
  • Finally had my request put through for a pac code, should receive it within 4-5 hours. Got 2 weeks left on my contract.

Hate the fact that I have 2 lines with them and have been with them since their inception, but are unwilling to offer me anything on the Galaxy S2 (for both lines) other than what they have for new customers.

How did you get offered that? Minimum I'm getting offered is £35/month (basically what they have for new customers)
  • So I got offered this

    Line 1;
    900 Minutes or Texts
    2000 3-3 minutes
    1GB net
    Nokia C201
    £7 a month for 24 months
    £180 comet voucher

    Line 2
    300 Minutes or Texts
    2000 3-3 minutes
    2gb internet
£6 a month for 12 months "flex" deal.
