what number did you ring at 3 , to get this deal , my negatiations will start on wednesday , i want a good deal on the galaxy s..
  • I called them on 333, went through the options selecting that I wanted to leave Three, then asked for my PAC code. Find the best deal elsewhere and then be clear about what you want. Be prepared for them to agree to the PAC code, as I believe they sometimes phone you back later with better deals.
  • 333 to upgrates.
wife had 20 days to finish the contract and we had not given notice, though i was looking for the 9300 blackberry for her spending 15 quid and no many minutes as i got 3 and i got blackberry too ..instead of texts can use the mesenger.
i sort of opted for the 9780 so if they didnt move at all i would ask for a ''lower grade'' blackberry
he said no chance and i said, i ll look elsewhere and meantime giving 1 month noticee

he spend few mins to the manager and bingo we got what we wanted .
i must say i been 7 years with 3 and wife on her third... we very happy with them to be honest, no problem with reception, fast internet and spending as little as possible on a very decent phone.
i would never see myself or wife commit on a 40 pounds a month contract
  • Was on £18 a month 18 month contract for 200mins, 3000 texts, 2GB data with a phone.

This has just expired, rang up to request pac and after about 10 minutes of talking offered me the same contract on sim only for £8 a month on a 12 month contract.

Seemed ok so I accepted! I text abroad a bit so I guess that helped.

Not a bad deal, although not spectacular. On the Three website they offer 300 mins, 3000 texts and 1GB data for £10-a-month for 12 months and you can get £54.54 Topcashback for taking that.

BTW, Three are offering £150 cash back for phone contracts with a handset on Quidco, ends in 4 days.
  • I just entered the last month of my contract, so I phoned Three saying I wanted my PAC number as I had found a cash back deal for £5-a-month. The operator put me on hold for a couple of minutes, then came back offering me a deal for exactly £5-a-month (300 minutes or texts, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 2.5GB data). He said it is SIM only for a minimum of 12-months, after which is rolls on at £5-a-month, which suits me brilliantly so I accepted the offer.

I got a letter today confirming I will be paying £15 a month, so I phoned them and they verbally assured me it will be £5 a month. I'm sure it will be fine, but it's strange they send out incorrect confirmation letters - not helping them or the customer!

well done to all those who have got good deals from 3 , i`ve just had a phone call and the only deal they would offer me was deals that was on their site , infact all they wanted to offer me was the one plans , i was also told that i was not eligable for a phone upgrade on the plan i was on and also the £8 discount i have on my account is now worthless , the strange thing is that one month ago i was offered a samsung ace for free one my other contract , which is identical to the contract i`m on now ! think it time to get a pac code and move on..
