Well I've just got my PAC number from three.
Do you think retentions will call to offer me a better deal?????

Depends if they want to keep you, how much do you spend per month?

Round about £20 per month now. On a sim only deal.
Others here seem to have got bargain deals on sim only deals reading through previous posts.
I will post here if I get a call.

Right, I've been offered a free nokia c2-01 on the one plan , for 24 months at £15 per month.( so £360 over 2 years )
I won't use the nokia as i have an iPhone.
Do you think it's a good deal????
I did want a sim only deal but I've had no joy.

    Cheers

Well, if it is the One Plan that you really want (do you need the biggest plan they do - 2,000 minutes!?) then it seems a fair price. They sell the Nokia C2-01 for £45, so that's not worth much.

I wanted 600 plus minutes and as much data as possible.
The one plan was the only offer given, apart from a sim only deal for 12 month also at £15 per month with 600min 3000 texts 2000 3 to 3 mins ,and 3gb data.

The one plan looks ok , plus I could tether or not worry about data usage??
  • Yes tethering allowed on the One Plan. £15 seems a very good deal, seen people downloading tens of gb per month see http://blog.three.co.uk/2011/03/04/guest-post-all-you-can-eat-experiment/
  • 12 month contract will be ending soon. What are 3 Offering on retentions at the moment?

Best to have some genuine deals at hand to quote to three. ask for your PAC number. Once you have it they will call you with offers. let us know!
  • Been in touch with three today and the best deal I was offered was 600 mins, 300 txts, 5000 3-3 mins on a rolling monthly contract for £15. Thing is I know to hold in there since when I cancelled my mobile broadband with 3 they offered me 5gb for only £7.50 a month.
  • After making 3 calls today I have landed a fantastic deal. The guy asked me how i was and i replied fine thanks, yourself? And he said that nobody had ever ever asked him that before on the job and had made his day and in return he would make mine, i was a little sceptical but continued with haggling. He explained that if i were to help me that i would have to take a phone and not just a sim option only as i originally requested and that a 24 month contract would take place. After 10 mins of waiting whilst he spoke to a manager the offer he made was:

    Sony Xperia Arc
    900 Anytime X Network Mins
    2000 Landline Mins
    5000 3-3 Mins
    5000 Txts
    3GB Data Allowance
And £10 worth of international calls for free per month

All for £11 per month, think you know what i said!!

The phone retails at around £350 yet the contract comes in at just over £260 over the 2yr contract, I asked him how it worked and explained it's my previous account conduct even though my bills are approx only £35 and have been with 3 for 3 years now. I'm completely over the moon, my advice is too be set on how much you want to spend, find a matching deal and maybe exaggerate a little and praise them for been such a great company, worked for me!!
