Has anyone been offered anything decent with a Samsung Galaxy S?0
-
I've been with 3 for around 8 years, rang up today for any offers as my contract is at an end, the best they offered me was a HTC Wildfire 300 min, 5000tx, 500mb internet for £20 p/m . Im currently on 500 mix n match u/l internet and at the time recieved a shiny new SE W995, this was 18 months ago and i pay £15 p/m.
When I refused and requested a PAC he said he does'nt want me to have my PAC and asked me to go and explore the market, again I refused, this went on for 15 minutes by which time i had had enough, he then asked me 'why do you want to leave?' I replied 'I did'nt 'till i talked to you, you have done my head in' he hung up, 5 minutes later I recieved my PAC code.
Wonder if i'll get a call back - me thinks not!0 -

That seems like a damn good offer, considering the E7 just got released!
How long had you been with 3?0 -

On the phone ATM. We never use our Mobile Broadband, but my sister wanted a laptop. Long story short my mother ended up with both the laptop and the bill. Called to cancel it and BOOM retention time.
On £22 a month for 15GB with a 10" netbook (1.6Ghz ATOM, 1GB RAM) on a 24 Month contract. (explained that's £360 for a laptop Dixons sell for £200, he said buying from someone else was risky, I asked if he thought buying from Dixons was risky, he said yes, I chuckled)
Offered an identical netbook (Spec wise) for £15/ month on a 24 month contract. Said nope.
15" notebook (2.0Ghz dual core, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD). £28/ month.
(pointed out this is £672 for a mid end laptop)
iPad1 3G 64GB with 15GB data £25/ month for 24 months £99 for the iPad (Later doped to £79) (£679 for iPad1 is pretty naff).0 -

You should always choose the option for 'I am thinking of leaving' rather than 'upgrades' to get the best deals out of them.0
