I am on mix and match 1100 and my contract ends in May 2011.
At present I pay £35 a month but was told in May I can reduce my line rental to £20 a month as I will be eligable to cancel the £15 per month video pack addon. I am already receiving the £11 per month discount.
I've been a customer for over 5 years so was thinking about haggling. However, If I ask for a PAC will this reset my £11 a month loyalty discount? I'm not interested in a new phone.0 -
buy the orange San Francisco (payg) then get either tesco £10 sim, or Tmobile, or GiffGaff? Just an option, nice phone though
That thought did cross my mind, I've checked out the San Francisco as I'm a right phone geek.
I had heard that it's coming to pay monthly also.
I do have an iphone 3gs which I'm using, so I'm being greedy really just so intrigued by android.
Who do Tesco piggyback on because coverage is something that never bothered me before until I moved to a 'blackspot'.Tighter than a gnats ****0 -
Be careful with 16gb iPhone 4 at the moment as Three are offering people refreshed "must be their name for refurb" handsets. Rumour has it Three have picked up the handsets that Apple agreed to refund due to grip of death issue.
I'm not sure where this rumour has started but Three haven't even been issuing 16gb iPhones recently as they were waiting for new stock which, according to them, was an upgrade to the original spec that had got rid of the "grip of death" issue. Why the same didn't apply to the 32gb (which was still available), I don't know.If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

Also if you try and buy a 16GB online it definately says refreshed. I saw on another forum that Three had bought all the stock that Apple offered refunds to in the UK but can't seem to find that page again. Probably like they bought all the old 32GB white 3GS as Apple sold these on cheap to Three. If I can find page I will post link0 -

You are correct and I apologise for doubting you. Although they will still have a 12 month warranty on them Three aren't even doing them cheaper than if they were brand new. The very least they could do is knock a couple of quid off the tariff. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

......What is a refreshed iPhone?
It's an iPhone that has been used but all data from the previous owner has been removed. The phone has been checked and approved to a certain standard by Apple, but some devices may have minor scratches. Your refreshed iPhone will be repackaged and it will come with new accessories as well as a 12 month warranty.
And there asking for an upfront fee of £99.00 for a second hand phone however if you don't want to pay the fee they will increase the monthly cost from £30 to £35.0 -

looks like i got lucky then, as i ordered mine through upgrades, got it this tuesday, in that link you posted some guy said he got a refreshed one, and it came in a plain white box, and the delivery note said refreshed model on the paperwork, well mine came in a prpoer apple box and paperwork says pre-ordered iphone 4, so looks like i got a brand new one on the same deal as this, i am paying £35 a month, as i did not want to pay £99 for the phoneTake every day as it comes!!0 -
I got offered a free Iphone for £25 a month. Will it be an old model? Wasnot interested at the time but may change my mind. Any ideas?0

i am guessing they offered you a 3gs model, as there is a tariff of £25 for the 3gs but an upfront fee of £129, so looks like they have waved the upfront fee for youTake every day as it comes!!0 -
If they dont offer an HTC desire for £15, I may consider the iphone. Contarcts got 3 weeks let so will try again soon...0
