My current plan following an upgrade is
Samsung Galaxy S for FREE
One Plan on 18 month contract
2000 mins anytime any network, 5000 texts and 1gb internet,
Plus internet add on of extra 2gb for free.
All for £25 per month, I was wondering if I could of bettered it but after reading here I have to admit I got a very very good deal and customer service did not lie when they said that offer was only available to around 2% of their most valued premier league customers.
p.s originally I accepted that for £32, took perseverance and also a manner that makes the guy/gal on the other end of the phone like you and go out of their way to find a way to offer the best deal possible and go beyond the automated offers given on the system.0 -

I have no sihnal in my area therefore I was allowed a pac code even though 16 months remaining on my 18 month contract. Signal was great until August 2010 then it just died in my area.
BTW I had the HTC Hero in white.
Hi, I've been having problems with my 3 network connection for the last month or so as well. Just had my bill for the last month and it is astronomical! Lots of calls that were disconected as soon as they connected and because it took me over my allowance I was unknowingly paying a premium rate! Need to speak to CS but don't hold out much hope.
I'm looking for another package but don't know whether to go for contract, PAYG or sim only. Also, which network? I would be grateful for any suggestions please.
I don't make many calls and I don't use internet connections from my phone.
Thanks0 -
hmmmm not holding out much hope when I come to upgrade this year after reading what other people are being offered. My contract is due to finish early February so I'm not sure whether I should phone them up to test the water so to speak and see what I get offered now.
Currently I have a 50% loyalty discount - really old price plan that they no longer do that I pay £15 per month for. They do better pice plans now for similar money but loads more minutes, texts and internet allowance. I get 500 mins, 100 texts, unlimited internet plus the biggest bonus for me is that I also still get a 12 month contract as I've been with 3 since they started.
I've never bothered to change my price plan cause I don't want to lose the 12 month contract, but somehow this year I don't think I'll get to keep it.
So should I give them a ring now and see what I get offered and see if I get to keep my 12 months for another year or wait until January and see what happens then?0 -
id say ring now and see you can always decline any offer and just wait to feb if they dont make u a good offer0

Unfortunately, they also wanted me to pay an extra £5 a month on my bill without any increase in the allowances. This would've meant paying £270 or £150, respectively, for the phone, which is more expensive than they are on Three's website on the £30 tariff (£189 and £99). I was also told that the £99 price is for new cutsomers only and that the normal price for upgrades for the 16gb is £129. I politely declined their offer.
Coincidentally (I don't think), my BIS got switched off at 7 o'clock last night. When I rang they said it would take "6 or 7 hours" to sort out. It has now been 13 hours and still isn't back on. I feel another phone call coming on...
They've clearly had a change of heart in the last few weeks then..
Opening offer was an iPhone4 16gb for free on a 24mth £30 p/m contract. 500 mins, 5k texts, 1gb internet, lots of 3:3 mins
I nearly fell off my chair and just accepted it as that was pretty much what I was after.
Hardly a premium customer - currently pay £15 a month on mix and match 300 although I have been with them a while (3 years now).Who's going to fly your plane? / When you need to make your getaway....0 -

500 mix and match minutes
5300 3 to 3 minutes

this seems bonkers is this correct?0 -

Be careful with 16gb iPhone 4 at the moment as Three are offering people refreshed "must be their name for refurb" handsets. Rumour has it Three have picked up the handsets that Apple agreed to refund due to grip of death issue.0 -
Within my upgrade window but have been experiencing 'difficulties' with my signal in my new house and surrounding area. Three, without any fight agreed that they can't guarantee it will ever get any better and have put a note on my account to say i can cancel from now ( 3 months remaining). I wouldn't care but I feel I am on a cracking tariff and was looking to stay on E71 Internet texter £20 with £5 off loyalty, and keep my 200 mins, 3000 texts and 2gb internet with maybe a cheeky cheap android (europa, optimus one) thrown in. The signal is always roaming on Orange 2g and i fear that they will never put a new mast up.
Will I get something similar from Orange on a 18 month deal £15 per month with a phone - I think not.
Really don't know what to do???any ideas on cheap alternatives?
