Kyle, that must be the 16gb version, its nothing different to the offer on the website, i'm on hold now, as i'm not in my last 30 days of contract i have to pay £219 for 32gb, if i was in last 30 days it would be £189, same as on website.

nothing for being loyal, this sucks.

I'm assuming its the 16GB as you say its the same as on the website and thats exactly what i said to the guy from 3 but thats what they could offer me. I am only just into the 110 days from the end of my contract so i guess a good deal really but just wanted something better than a new customer would get.

Retentions have been ringing me constantly today with various offers...which im thinking about.....

HTC Hero 18 Month Contract £15 - Talk Plan 300 (300 mins or text and 300 3-3) and 2 GB Internet

HTC Wildfire 24 Month Contract - Internet Talker 300 - £18 (no budging on website deal)

HTC Desire 24 Month Contract - Internet Talker 300 - £22 or £29 on 18 month contract

Hero would have been £10 - but they have added £5 on for internet

Im not sure what to do ...really would like the wildfire ...but the hero deal is tempting and its only a 18 month contract

Ive not accepted yet ..they are ringing me tomorrow ..so I can have a look at the Hero in the local 3 store

rang up, cancelled 3gs order, got 32gb 4 coming 27th july, same tarrif but 189 one off fee. Should have been 219 as im not in last 30days of contract.

Kyle - currently on Talk 300 (300 mins or text and 300 3 to 3 mins) which is plenty and I never go over this. Currently pay £18 per month (18 month contract) and £5 for Internet Max. So Hero deal ..saving me £8 per month is appealing.

I got the htc wildfire for free with a £15 pm contract, 300 mins unlimited texts, 3g internet on t-mobile, 24 months contract.
just phoned up and asked if they would match my solo 15 30 day rolling contract with that phone.

I got bombarded with various offers for the HTC Desire today

1. 900min mix/match, 5000 3-3, 1gb internet +Desire for £18 on a 24month contract

2. 500min x network, 2000min landline, 5000 3-3, 5000 txt, 2gb internet + Desire for £25 pounds again on 24 month deal

3. Same deal as above but £ 30 pounds on a 18month

Also got offered HTC Hero same as deal no for £18 or HTC Wildfire for £20.

I have plumped for the HTC Hero after checking it out in the local 3Store today.

£15 for 18 Month contract - Talk 300 Price Plan and 2 GB Internet - Saving me £8 per month - so happy all round. :j Together me and Mrs B have saved £12 per month on mobile phone rental from 3 this year ...so happy days. Couldnt really justify an extra £7 per month for the Desire.

3 are apparently going to be releasing the Android 2.1 software upgrade over the air in the next few weeks.
