I did the same as you last month, asked for pac code and they never called at all. I used my pac and went to t mobile but still getting texts from three even though im no longer a customer lol.
I was told by a girl in the three store that because i had requested my pac code they would not be offering me any more deals (the ones they were offering were available to new customers)0 -
I hadn't been been offered any good deals at the end of my min contract so got my PAC code last week. Called again today on the off chance of a decent deal on an HTC Desire but none in stock. First guy was pretty rude and his best offer was a Hero on 24mth contract at full price. Called a bit later and got an very friendly guy who offered an iphone 3GS 16GB with 500 xnet mins, 3000 txt, 1Gb net, 18mth contract for £35/mth plus £49 up front. I was that surprised I didn't even attempt to haggle, which was probably a mistake. I've 14 days to change my mind. Anyone been offered a better deal on an iphone from 3?0

Just called 3 to request my PAC code after spending 30 minutes on the phone discussing upgrades. Intially, they wouldn't offer me the new HTC Desire but after asking for my PAC code I was put through to a really nice lady who asked what deals I'd been offered with other providers. After a quick chat she offered £15 per month, 18 month, 300 minutes/txt, unlimited internet and a HTC Desire for free when they're back in stock. This is exactly the kind of deal I'm after, so I'll wait a couple of days and see what happens0

Well I'm not getting my hopes up yet. I've been down this road before with 3 offering a too good to be true deal and it usually is when you read the details.
I called them up and went straight to the "I want to leave 3 section". There I asked for my PAC code as a rival operator had offered me a fantastic deal on the HTC Desire. I was asked what the deal was (Vodaphone 18 month contract, £20/month, 250 minutes, 1k texts, unlimited internet, free handset via their Twitter page: VodafoneUKdeals) and I was told that 3 couldn't match this. They then offered me 24 months, £20, unlimited calls/texts/data, free handset (Desire) but I said that I only wanted an 18 month contract. Then they matched Vodaphones deal and as I'm a long term customer (I have 2 Mix and Match 300 phones haggled to £10 per month on a 1 month rolling contract) I could keep my current usage plan contracted to 18 months (standard Mix and Match 300) and they'd add on unlimited internet with a free Desire, which suits me fine. Now, I know 3 normally want £200 for the Desire on this plan, so I'll see if it still stands when they call, otherwise I'll jump ship to Vodaphone.0 -
