Was on sim only since my contract ended. Got Nokia E63 mix match 300, 300x 3-3, and 1gb internet for £15 a month on 18 months. So Yorkshireterr your deal aint bad.

Well my contract with 3 finishes in one month time and my daughter who the contract was for, wanted the HTC desire and eventually went for the deal woth T Mobile (I hasten to add she is paying for it heself from now on --yipee). That leaves me with her old contract in my name. Phoned three to get a PAC code but willing to have the contract myself provided it was cheap enough. They offered me a SE C903 basicaly on the same tarrif £21/month for 700Xnetwok mins, ulimited txts and internet etc on a 12 month contract plus a Comet voucher worth £180. Have no interest in the phone but it seems like a reasonable deal for a 12 month contract. Its far more minutes and texts than I need and really want a lower monthly cost but am tempted. Also offered the same phone on a mix and match 700 tarrif for £15.40 / month for 18 months.
Decisions decosions, I used to be indecissive but now I am not so sure!

My friend has recently had a phone call from someone from 3 or a subsiduary, he did'nt know as he is not familiar with contracts. He was with Orange but happened to go into a 3 store a few weeks ago and asked if they could at least match what he was getting from Orange (300 xnet, 100 txts, ul landline) for £15. They told him that they had no comparable plans of similar value so hew left. He had a phone call a couple of days later where he was offered whats seems like a 700 mix and match, ul web and a Nokia 5230 all for £15 and he has taken this.
Does this happen because I have not seen any retention deals that match this value let alone new contracts?

a few days ago i was offered a free phone (SE C903) with 300xnet mins mix and match, 1gb internet (forgot if there was an extra 300 3-3 mins as i wasnt interested in the deal so wasnt listening properly) for £5 a month 18m contract on one phone number and the same phone and mins and internet for 10£ a month on another phone number that i have with them from their outbound customer dept.

but i refused and took up the htc desire for a higher price.

they were offering the HTC hero on some deals but i cut them short and didnt listen to the offer as i wasnt interested in that phone.

didnt know that they gave comet vouchers etc as a retention plan. Point to note for next phone discussion with them in future. MSE afterall

When i first called 3 they didn't come up with anything decent so i asked for my pac code, then this week the customer options team called and tried to offer me something else, i was at work so couldn't really talk so said no, anyway i called them and they offered me the following

500mins xnet
unlimited 3-3 mins
unlimited texts
unlimited internet
free Sony Ericsson Satio

All this for £25 which i thought was very good but i said no and i will be calling again to get a lower monthly fee, They have offered me something different each time i have spoken to them so i will just keep going until they cave in and give me what i want :-)
