Still trying with three and they have now offered the HTC Hero 500 mix and match tarrif with 300 3to3 calls for £13.25 on an 18 months contract. No internet but that will cost a further £5 per month for I think it was a G of useage. I am not really interested in the phone but the 500 mix and match is probaly adequate for my useage and my other daughter has the hots for the phone. It will cost her an additional £5 on vodaphone for her internet, so now to see if the phone can be unlocked.

My contract on 3 is up next month. Should I contact them to negotiate a new deal or will they contact me?

    Thanks

What deal did they give you on the desire?
sorry for the late reply, just saw this now as was posting on the htc desire thread.

i ordered 2 htc desire paymonthly phones on upgrade. each for 20£ a month 18m contract, 1100xnet mins mix and match 300mins 3-3, 1gb internet, 4gb card with each phone, plus phone cost of £149.99 each. probably could have got a better deal but was exhausted after the numerous calls wasted on them and thought my time was better spent playing with my daughter rather than waste much more time on them. but will complain when i find out their complaints address as was promised on the 15th that 22nd delivery when they read the T&C to me while confirming deal, then get told on monday that will be delayed.

was supposed to get it on 22nd but due to some goofups by them it is not coming tomorrow and out of stock and will come when phone comes in stock next. dont know when though as they themselves dont kmow when they are getting it next. says so on their blog as well.

The free Spotify on the computer is different. You need to pay the subscription charge (£10 a month - which is inclusive in the offer from 3 which is why it's a part of the 'deal') in order for Spotify to work on mobile services.

Have just taken the deal on the HTC Hero on a 700 mix and match tarrif with 300 3to3 calls, free voicemail on an 18 month contract for £15.75 plus £5 for 1Gb of internet. My No.1 daughter is having the phone as an early birthday present so will cancell the internet on Monday. Will only cost the £15.75 from then on in. It is also worth noting that the internet package only works from when the new contract starts which in my case is the 17th May. This phone automaticaly locks on to the internet so I have arranged for the internet to be barred up until 17th. People be aware that you do not fall into the trap and pay a fortune for internet whilst you run out the old contract.
I am sort of pleased with the deal but the daughter is well chuffed.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

just a couple of months ago spotify was free on many of the hero packages on 3, and was for 25£ a month inclusive of spotify and free phone for new customer with their 750min package with internet, skype, messenger etc
