Just got almost what i wanted....1 day before my pac code was expiring ;-) Phoned 3g just before i was about to take out a new contract and they offered me the HTC Hero on a 18 month contract, unlimited texts, unlimited internet, £25/month without the £150 charge. Asked for a line rental discount but no luck with that, though managed to blag a £10 credit and a memory card (not sure if thats included anyway). Arrives tommorrow, quite pleased ;-) Anyone been offered or managed to get better than that with the Hero?

Is the deal you got offered the same as this only 18 rather than 24 months?

500 minutes. Yes the same deal as a 24month, but on a 18month contract. ;-) Effective saving £150. I really tried hard for a discount on the line rental, cause I have read earlier in the forum that some people have received a large discount on their line rental. Up until today, as per my previous posts, they had simply been offering me the same as a new customer would get. e.g. HTC Hero for free, £25/month, 24 month contract or £150 upfront fee, £25/month, 18 month contract. One thing I did notice today was the lady on the phone reffered to my last 8-9 months of the contract (this would show 3/4 £100+ bills, whereas previously the retentions team would only refer to the last 3 months, which have all been £27/month (mix&match 1100, staying within the alowance). Does my deal sound ok?

I have a mix & match 500 at a discounted rate of £10 per month. The 18 month contract expires 4th June, the bill does not show any discount it is showing £8.51 + £1.49 VAT. Does anyone know if it will just continue at that rate after expiry if I don't cancel it? If so I can just wait untill something better comes along and give them 30 days notice to cancel.

I must have the same deal - I pay just short of a tenner a month for 500 text or calls and my contract runs out at the end of May I think. I think this is a pretty good deal and dont want to cancel until something better comes along...I will call and let you know what they say.

I have just asked for my PAC code as I rejected the delivery of the HTC Hero I was due to receive. I'm not sure if this is a good deal but they were now offerering the HTC Hero for £150 with Mix and Match 300 with Internet for £10 a month on a 18 month contract. But, they only offered me that after I told them about the HTC Desire offer that T-Mobile are offering.

I'm just going to play the waiting game now and ring up on the 20th about the Desire and hope they can match T-Mobile's offer, but I doubt it. The staff member I spoke to at retentions also said something about new tariffs coming out by the 2nd week of May, but I'm not sure if he said that just to keep me at 3 for an extra month or not.
