Not sure if they will ring or not, but with other companies I've rung them if the pac code doesn't arrive quickly just to see what is happening. Then while I'm on the phone I'll ask if there are any new deals on since my last call just in case they can match the deal that you're thinking of taking with another provider...
Sometimes works, sometimes not, but worth a try.

If they don't call, then call them !, I always call after i've given 30 days notice, be prepared to phone and phone again if need be, until you get the deal you want, not the one they want to give you, eventually you'll get the person who will offer you the deal you're looking for.

I called them on Tuesday and they wanted to offer me a sim only deal with 3000 texts, 3000 landline mins, unlimited internet and 300 cross net minutes for £20

Ive since seen the HTC touch 2 on T Mobile for £15 an month, ok its a 24 month contract but included unlimited internet, unlimited landline calls, 300 texts and 300 cross net minutes.

For me, the T Mobile deal seems much much better.

Ive asked the lady to call back next week if any good offers come along so we shall have to wait and see if she will, she said she would.

I believe there is an up front payment for the phone on that deal with T-Mobile so its not quite the same. Three have now started advertising the HTC Desire at £35 a month so hopefully that will encourage them to unload the Heros they have left.

They do charge £60 for the phone if you want an 18 month contract, but free when you take the two year contract :)

I am however going to wait as long as i can to see if i can squeeze anything better off three.
My month usually starts on the 15th of each month, now my PAC code is due to expire on the 6th of may. If i take out my contract with t mobile on say the 3rd may as ive not been offered anything better from three how will they work out my bill?
It usually comes out DD on the 4th or 6th of each month, will i be charged for an extra month unless i use my PAC before the 14th of April???
    :o

    Heres the link

Id also qualify for £20 cashback through TCB :)
  • hmm, I should be due an upgrade with 3, but last month I stupidly agreed to go on a rolling contract because it sounded like a good deal at the time, they will not offer me an upgrade now for 2 months and my old phone is knackered, a real shame and Im kicking myself for going on the rolling contract. I asked to revert back to my original contract but was outside the 14 days...

Why do they make it so complicated? I didnt even ask to go on this rolling contract, they phoned me and it would seem its purely to delay upgrades..

I have been with them on this contract for about 5 years and due to this they will loose my business just as they did my partners last year...

Yesterday they were trying to offer me a an 18 month contract, 300 mix and match, 1gb Data and a free Hero for £15. I was tempted, but he wouldn't add more texts so I just asked for my PAC Code. Found a deal that I like on the Desire with Orange, so if they can't match or better it I'm jumping ship...
  • I've got my htc touch2 on t mobile, it arrived this morning and my number will be transferred by Friday night, just hope three arent looking to charge me an extra month as i usually would get my new allowance on the 16th (friday) :(
  • rung three, was out off contract but still using last years contract which was £12.00 a month 500xnet, 100 text. was offered 300 mix and match, 300 3to3, 1gb data and a sony ericson c903 for the same monthly rate £12.00 a month although i am now in a new 18 month contract. is this a good deal or should i send phone back and refuse the deal. 300 xnet mins is more than enough for my needs.
