3 Retention Deals

We have 2 contracts in my girlfriends name, both due to expire in december, I rang a couple of days ago to see what they where offering, I told them I would not consider 18mth contract and they offered 1 x sony w880i on direct text 950 (750 text 150 mins plus 50 mms/video mins) for £17, on a 12 month contract and a nokia n73 on the same plan for £15. They also agreed to knock our next 2 bills down by £10 each. I think we got a very good deal and having looked around, mobile phone contracts seem to be getting less generous, on the whole....

ordered my pac yesterday. the best the dept. could do was the tenner p/m 500m/100t no phone. i didn't take it. they phoned my home last night best offer 600m/200t and a sony 610 for £15 p/m. i maybe should have taken it and sold the phone. then it'd only cost me £30-70 for the year, but i told them about the 6 months free and 6 at a fiver, thats what i'd like, they couldn't do it then, so we'll see if the get back before the pac moves.

does anyone know the name of the company that is offering these deals? i had them on again tonight, safa, safari couldn't quite make it out, but they made a pigs ear of trying to sell me a deal, which made me think that they may be just cold callers. does anyone know a name of the company which does 3 retention deals? took the deal and it went smoothly.

try going to an actual three store as i went today, the guy working theres was saying that sometimes that they can offer better deals then 3 offer on the phone. unfortuently for me my details didnt come up on the upgrade system for some reason

gave 30 days notice on 3 different contracts with three almost 3 weeks ago - last year when i gave notice to cancel on 2 contracts they were on the phone just about every day offering deals to stay until offered £5 for the year - this year not a peep from them - how does this compare to others recent experiences with 3 when cancelling - are they no longer interested in retaining customers?

Same here, offered me £6 for the whole year for 100min and 100txt straight up without even haggling - now not even a peep.

Look's like I'll have to move over to T-Mob. The great thing is that on after the 25th of november I will have an option of upgrading with O2, Orange OR 3!!! Talk about choice!!!!!!!!! :j :j :j
