3 Retention Deals

The phone is now on 3. They told me yesterday that it was just launched yesterday itself. No, it doesnt include Spotify deal. I am not after Spotify as it has nothing to offer me. I am just wondering whether the £26 deal is good or not as the cheapest I could find with 500+ mins & internet was this. If you know anything that is cheaper then please tell me.

urm its not bad i guess. but if going ahead then get the internet add on, unless u dont use the net much

I am with 3 for last 5 years. For past 2 years on talk n Text 600+2000 Land line mins for 14GBP.... This time I was offered 14GBP once again for talk n Text 600 (minus 2000 Land line mins ).... more than what I was paying

So I cancelled the contract... ..

They called after 2 days with.. best offer (talk n Text 600+2000 Land line mins for 14GBP) for T715 sony erricson and 110 GBP COMET VOUCHERS... I just cound not belive...

Have been with 3 for a few years and always got good deals.

Currently I have 600 mins/ unlimited texts/ £5 downloads per month/ free 3 to 3 calls for £22 per month with C902.

I'm out of contract in Jan (18 months) and have had 3 attempts at up grade today.

First, instore. Was told I would loose my £8 loyalty discount if I upgraded. Best deal offered was C903 £25 Internet Texter plan - same as new customers on website. Declined!

Next, called upgrades - best offer, SE W995, keep tariff, pay £21.50 per month plus £29 upfront for phone. Declined.

Finally called cancellations to enquire about PAC and cost of buying out the last 2 months of contract as found great deal on Mobile Express. HTC Hero on Orange35, reduced to £25 per month. £29 upfront for phone.

Offered HTC Hero, 500 mins/ 3000 texts/unlimited internet/ 18 month contract for £22.50 per month plus £88 upfront for phone. Accepted - as internet allowance and cost of buying out contract plus hassle of switching number outweigh the upfront cost!

My 18month contract is up in May. Currently paying £34 and odd pence each month but don't use anywhere like the 500 minutes I have and don't need unlimited texts now. Is there a better tariff for me with them?

Hey, I couldn't get any deals on the Satio/Hero/Jet through retentions, they would only offer me new customer deals and this is about 3 phones calls. Only thing is, my contract finishes on 9th January, does this mean that retentions will only make offers from December 9th onwards? Or or they really awful? I am paying £25 for 500 Mix & Match with my N95 8GB nearly 18 months ago. They won't budge on anything, any opinions?

I'm currently on £21 700 Mix and Match with 10mb internet. My contract ends in Jan and so I am going to be upgrading moving soon.

I always spend over £30 (£35 approx) With this month going to be about £50.

What sort of deals do you think I can get offeref and am I in a good bargaining position with my monthly over spend.

TBH I am only going to get a Hero or posssibly I phone and would rather change network. However if my prospects are good and I can save £10+ over other networks then I will.
