3 Retention Deals

Hi, I called up 3 to check what they could offer me as I am due an upgrade.
I was offered:
Nokia 5800
3 year warranty on the phone
8 GB memory card
500 Mix & Match units
300 3 to 3 minutes
All these for 22 pounds/month
18 months contract- eligible for upgrade at the end of 14 months.
I'm not sure whether to accept the deal. What do you guys think?
Is it a good deal? If not what else can I ask for? I have asked for 24 hours to think about it.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.0 -
I rang up 3 to cancel my mobile broadband as they annoyed me to the extent of telling them when my contract for my phone is up next august that i will port my number to o2 to get the iPhone, the person on the other end of the phone said, "oh we will be getting the iPhone by then, so why not hold on and enjoy your customer loyalty discount on the tariffs" not sure how true it is, perhaps spinning a yarn to get me to stay, can anyone else confirm this, thanksAnd yes the lady in the avatar is me

I wouldn't accept it, is that deal from retentions? It's only £23 a month on the website and you could go through quidco and get cashback.
Thanks jclegs for your input. That deal was from retentions.
Had a look at the 3 website. Yes they are offering it for £23/month and Quidco is £32.50.
Will reject the deal tomorrow and ask for a PAC number.0 -

Thank you drzoidberg. You're a star.
Your suggestion will save me 4x18=£72 in rentals. I can use the quidco cashback to buy the memory card.
Looks like the "best offer" they can give me for my loyalty of 5 years will infact cost me a lot.
I'll see if they can match the above offer alongwith free internet. If not Bye bye 3.0 -
Try them again, making sure you ask for your pac code first and then talk them round to a good deal.
Edit: Not as cheap as drzoidberg's deal but not bad:
Virgin Mobile £22 + internet + £30 quidco0 -
I don't rate any warranty 3 give anyway. My daughters phone went faulty and after we had sent it back and they had kept it for a fortnight they wrote and said it was no longer in its warranty period, we had to prove that it was. Then, when we did prove this they changed it to the phone has been damaged by water which wasn't covered by warranty. When we said it had not been near water they said it could have been atmospheric water! It took weeks to get the phone "fixed" then when it came back it still didn't work. We ended up sending it back about 4 times and it took about 3 months to get it finally fixed.0

I did this and am awaiting the first bill, you will have to chase it up I bet they will try to charge more. As for the £20 accessories voucher you aren't allowed that it's for new customers.
I've just got my phone (finally) and I can confirm that I received the £20 ccessories voucher. So, don't forget, if you upgrade online, use a voucher0 -

Plus the phone will be unlocked to any network. I recently got an E71 and that came with a 2GB card and no 3 software. Just don't forget to cancel the mandatory insurance and gadget helpline cover, unless you really want it.
A brand new phone will have at least a years guarantee.0 -
