Too true - except I'd have to pay nearly £100 up front for the iPhone 3GS on a 24 month deal. I believe that I can still send it back within 14 days provided I've not done anything to it - which is a right I may still exercise, only hitch there is if the pience of paper with the 'deal' outlined on it is late in arriving. I have been happy with 3 (mostly, occasional rubbish internet connection on the mobile at home, but am getting a wireless router anyway) til now, and figured that staying put was easier as I have a second contract with them for hubby and we get 300 free minutes each to call 3 to 3. Let my financial head rule over the draw of the lucious iPhone!! £113 over the year is a fair amount _party_

Whenever I hit the upgrade button, all I got was a message telling me to go into a 3 store. Maybe its changed recently? Must admit, Im getting more and more peeved at not being offered anything when I read this forum, but then again, maybe Im lucky to be shot of them!

I think the only time I've read about offers being available on the website were people on the MM1100 6500 slide deal thingy. Could be wrong. And phoning them is a far better bet than going to a store, the lovely 3 folk in the shop told me that they can't do anything other than published tarriffs.

2 things also occured to me:
    1) The Nokia 6120 is actually a really good phone for the price - does loads but is one of their cheapy options.

    2) LOOK ON T'INTERWEBS FOR DISCOUNT VOUCHERS IF YOU ARE GOING TO UPGRADE ONLINE. You can bag yourself ten or twenty quids worth of accessory vouchers which do work on the upgrade checkout page.

No it doesn't it includes inserting a SIM and switching on, setting time/date etc.

And most of all it isn't 14 days as it must be back with them before the expiry of 14 days don't get caught out.

    I am on the t & t 1100 with nokia 6500 slide cost pm £22.51, out of a 18 month contract.
Only use about 300 max t & t at the moment.
Called up to put it to pay as you go and was offered Nokia 6700 or W595 Sony on t & t 500 for 18 months at £10.61 or a C903 Sony at £13.61.
I am happy with the price, just not sure about the phone's
    What do you all think?
Any other phone's i should try for?
Any of these phone good for the internet?
Any be used for sat nav?

    Cheers
    SM

Old, uninspiring phones. The price is good though but make sure that's what you do end up paying.... ! Ask them for something for keeping your old phone. If they say no, consider regoing to PAYG?

Phones are a personal thing. I don't make recommendations. Think about what you want it to do, how big you want it to be, and how much you want to pay for it.

Also consider asking them to do a blinding deal for keeping your old phone (or going PAYG), and then buying a handset you like off-sim direct from the manufacturer. This will be my next route.
