have been offered a LG 990i for £17 a month...

    750 mins
    150 texts
    50 video mins
    50 Picture messages
    £5 of downloads

    Is this phone any good???
It's a great day for singing a song / It's a great day for moving along / It's a great day for morning to night / It's a great day for everybody's plight.

Your father pedals car telephones at a 300 percent markup. Your mother works on heavy commission at a camera store. Graduated to it from espresso machines. Hah!

Have finally given in to the relentless phone calls from 3. They have now offered the N97 for £26.79 pm which is far cheaper than anyone else is offering it for so im quite happy with that.

Received N97 today.Rang 3 to confirm price plan and they now deny offering it for that price. Representative took great pleasure in telling me i was stuck with contract if sim card had been put in phone. I took great pleasure in telling him i hadnt even opened the box. They are now (allegedly) listening to phone calls then calling me back next week. When (if) i am proved correct i will tell them to shove phone and contract where the sun doesnt shine. T w a t s.

Hi, I am currently on 500 mix & max tariff paying 10 a month - its a promotional tariff £8 discount. I am due for an upgrade on 10/07. Has anyone got this tariff and contacted 3 for an updrade? and what mobiles did they offer?

    Thanks

had exsact same thing last time i upgraded... the bloke promised me loads.... and when my first bill vcame there was nothing showing on my contract of all the extra bits i had been promised.... after weeks or argueing and phone calls and emails... and them claiming not to have any recording of that "perticuler" original phone call i was left with nothing but a crappy contract.... which is why next month when my contract expires i shall take great pleaser in tellinh each and every person that phones me to offer me some deal to stay... to go %^&* themselves......
Have heard a few other opccasions of this happening too,,,, its rediculous that theres nothing u can do about it...

What a truly infuriating company, i cant get a single deal out of them....keep on banging out the same old naff.

Are you people going though the 333 then options 4 and 3? Or is there a way to talk to someone in england who might help a little more?

That's who i started with but had no success, i find that in the good old days if you rang between 6pm and 8pm you used to get glasgow but i don't think it happens anymore.
When you feel like giving up trying they will ring 1-2 weeks before your pac code expires.

If they don't then look elsewhere - i told them i was getting a cracking deal on t-mobile or virgin and they said the weren't bothered..a couple of weeks ago i got a decent upgrade. Just a matter of time

Just given 30 days notice and requested my PAC code. I've been with 3 since the beginning.. but they've !!!!ed me off once too many times now. Phoned up to upgrade, and wouldn't offer me anything any old new customer can't get. Then when I told them to shove their "valued premium customer" offer, had the cheek to demand a £10 "administration fee" to move 2 price plans lower than I'm on !

    Goodbye 3, Hello O2!

You are in the same situation as I was Lee. I too had been with them since the beginning, but was only ever offered what was on the website, despite several infuriatingly long phone calls .
I always ended up paying extra every month for using too many texts etc, but even so, apparently I wasnt a valued enough customer to want to keep. (I must have been valued last time, as I had been on £14pm loyalty discount then, so not sure what's happened in meantime!) It was even more galling to read about other people's great deals, who had only been with 3 for 18 months or so. I got fed up with 3 treating me like a mug to be honest, trying to make out they were giving me special discounts when they never actually were, and told them that's why I was leaving. Their final offer was a paltry £10 one off payment to stay, talk about insulted! They seem to be losing customers in droves, and can't seem to see it. Have been with Virgin a month now, and am much happier. Good luck!
