3 Retention Deals

I didn't even know you could haggle on mobile contracts until 3 called me today, informing me that my 18-month contract is going to end on 16th July! A lady offered me the Sony Ericsson W595 for upgrade, no mention of other changes. I'm currently on MnM 300 + 300 3to3 for 15pm, which doesn't look like a good deal at all after reading previous posts here! I have told the lady to call me back tomorrow, since I hadn't done any research when they called. I'll ask them to reduce my tariff to 10pm or maybe keeping the same tariff but giving me free internet and the E71 phone, if I'm being very ambitious :-)0

I have been offered this today after a lenght conversation with three and about 9 calls to them:
M+M 1100
2300 3-3 minutes
Unlimited land line (Fair usage of 2000 minutes)
Blackberry Email + Internet 1GB Data
SE W595
£25.25PM
I already have a Blackberry BOLD from three, was not bothered about the phone as will probably sell that on Fleabay.
I dont use video calling, or picture messaging as this can be done via BlackBerry messenger.
Do you think this is a good deal?0 -
Orange arent doing me any favours, and im really thinking of going to O2, but wondering if i can call them up and see if they can offer me retention prices for new customers...0

Push for more. I was offered the E71 with Mix&Match 500 for £8/month (i.e £10 loyalty discount) after saying I'm not that bothered about new phone but would like cheaper rental. I was prevously on M&M 300.
The £9.74 deal seems to be their standard opening offer to retain people on M&M 300 (at the callback stage, after they have given you a PAC code) - don't jump at it, keep haggling. Whether they're prepared to offer better deals may depend on your previous average monthly spend though.0 -
I have just upgraded and im on the MM1100 with unlimited internet. The only phone i wanted was the blackberry bold so im having to pay £40 a month for that.0

Have finally given in to the relentless phone calls from 3. They have now offered the N97 for £26.79 pm which is far cheaper than anyone else is offering it for so im quite happy with that.-....-.---.---. ..... .- -.-.

today after haggling I was first offered either:
mix and match 700 with Blackberry bold and unlimited internet for £21 per month
or mix and match 700 with Samsung i8510 for £17.50 per month
I don't want the Samsung though because I've heard it's unreliable.
Can I do any better than this? Is it worth calling other mobile companies?0 -
id say that is a great deal for the blackberry!!0
