Can I ask you 2x Questions??

1) Do you have Texter £20 or Texter £25 Deal? They did say I may be able to get it for £20 & £5 Internet (ie Texter £20 thats 200min). But I want the Texter £25 ie 500min.

2) What did you say to the Three Shop sales person to get the Deal? Can you just give a few points what you said & what they said? So I can at least try it on Saturday/Monday. :cool:

I open the Sun today.... Same phone with free internet and email, 200 xnet mins, unlimited txts.... £20. I suspect they are taking the pee here. I am in the midst of calling them back. 15 mins so far on hold.

I need them to beat the deal above before I'll entertain them. I have got a PAC for the expired contract (within 2 mins of the call ending), but still have to wait 10 days before I can get the PAC for #2. I expect them to bow down and scrape when I mention the Sun deal. I don't think they will, but at least it's a bit of a stick to beat them with.

If you were in the same position, what would you expect??? Contract numbers 1 & 2 are both low usage on calls (less than 300). Approx 90 txts pm on contract 1, and 20 pm on #2. Will use whatever internet is available on both.

What is reasonable to expect?

I take it you were referring to my £17 deal. I've actually changed my mind about this offer. Although it is marginally better than the £20 E71 deal, I don't need a new phone or make that many calls to warrant spending £17 for another 18 months. I would only be prepared to pay around £10 at the most. So I've called them back to cancel my upgrade. I'm waiting to hear back if they can do me £10 with internet add-on. I think I may be pushing my luck with this request, but what the hey I have nothing to lose. I'm more than happy to go PAYG, although I won't be downgrading directly with 3. I'd just request my PAC again and see what they can throw at me in the next 30 days before it expires. If they want to play games, then so can I.

Well, after a mind numbing hour and a quarter(!) on phone to customer services, retentions, back to customer services, back to specialist dept, then back to customer services (two disconnections included!), I've finally given my 30 days notice. The crazy thing is, I told them if they would just give me another 250 texts a month free on my present tariff, I'd stay with them. They refused!!!! How crazy is that? I didn't even want a posh phone. So, another customer lost for the sake of a few texts....bye 3. Disappointed isn't the word for it...

3 will charge you £15 to unlock one of their phones.

You're better off unlocking it yourself via an alternative method for £5-£10
