If you go through and click order or whatever it is on the three website it does come up as £25. Don't know why but it does, even though it does say £30 before.

    £25 & £5 eMail/Internet so the Shopping Cart says.

What exactly do you want from them?

What month of your contract are you in now and on what tariff?
Well them acknowledging quidco's existence and their connection would be a good start! I've got 2 months left ish on my 18 months. I know what you're going to say, I'm not due a proper retention deal yet, but right now I'm just fed up of their atrocious customer service and lack of communication. Quidco blatently doesn't sell phones and isn't like CPW.

Oh yes I see what you mean. On mine it says £30, then when you click 'pick' it goes down to £25, then you 'add to basket' and it goes back up. I didn't go that far before, sorry!

Just got off the phone to exec office. I was trying to argue the point about quidco, and trying to explain how it worked. He was totally uninterested and first tried to tell me quidco was a 3rd party retailer, like carphone warehouse, or phones4u, and that cashback was up to them, they couldn't do anything about it. I eventually kinda got it through to him but he still wasn't interested. So I just said I'd be leaving at the end of my term and he just said 'ok fine' or something like that. If that's the kind of value and respect I receive as a customer then that's what will happen, simple as.
I had this conversation with the guy in the 3 store today too, but at least he did seem to understand the Quidco thing. I am totally fed up with the lack of consistency with these retention deals..that's what's bugging me. It seems it's pot luck who you speak to as to what you're offered. I AM out of my contract period, (5 years plus with 3) but still getting nowhere with a remotely decent deal, and the Customer Service/retentions people are abysmal. I explained every time what I was looking for, but they just talk over you, and don't listen to what you are asking for at all. "I'd like more texts please"..("yes you do go way over your text allowance but stay with what you have anyway") "I'd like a Nokia 6600 slide please" (I will send you a Sony Ericsson") I'm actually angry at myself for caving in after 40 minutes on phone to them today and for agreeing to them sending me the Samsung with the option of sending it back within 14 days. But I think the phrase that convinced me that I've fallen out of like with 3 was " You need to trust me Madam, this is all about trust" !!!!! AAAAGGGGHHHHH

This is what happened to me, they pestered me at least twice a day for a week and i finally gave in and upgraded then 2 weeks later a better offer came out but they woudnt let me have it so i complained to executive office that if they had left me to upgrade when i was ready i could have had the deal i wanted i wasnt verry happy with the way the woman at the executive office spoke to me either

    No worries.

Just phoned 3 again to see what "Offers" I can get as I have 10 days left on my PAC Code. They cant sell the Bold on the phone (only in-store or at the Shop)

They offered E71 @ £25 (same as Net/Shop price) & no offers on it. They made out I could get it without paying £120 Handset fee ONLY today. GRRR The £25 texter offer on E71 should be £30, but I can get it at SAME cost of New Customer / Web for £25. This is a good deal for me (so they say) lol. It could go BACK to £30 tomorrow.

I said some get £5 or £10 loyalty Discount per month. He said Three cant afford this. So said he could offer £5 ONE time discount to 1st bill.

    Useless 3.

May try Three Store again. Want the Bold (or E71). But not fancy Full Price or no free Cards lol.

Lol. Less and less professional by the day. In my previous dealings with exec I have been left almost feeling intimidated. They once basically slagged off this forum and said in a rather !!!!!y tone 'Well you've obviously taken the words of some MSE forum users as gospel' etc.
    Not impressed.

I know what you mean, although I felt more like an idiot! The guy I spoke to at retentions almost had me in tears of frustration tbh. He got very humpy when I wouldnt say yes to the Sony Ericsson W595 that he offered, without checking it our first, and said it was now or never, so I said in that case, Id like to give my notice. He went away and said I could have the Samsung Soul at a bargain price of £80, and wasnt at all impressed when I laughed hysterically! Went through the old chestnut of 'I'll see what my manager can offer', came back and said I could have it for £5. I pointed out it was free to new customers on website, so off he trotted again. (why do they think we're taken in by this going to talk to the manager thing?) Suddenly the handset was free, and they wouldn't even charge delivery (do they ever???). By this time I'd had enough and said I wanted to cancel again. He said he'd send the handset anyway, and if I didnt like it, I could return it and go back to square one (where I seem to have been for past 2 weeks!) When I asked how I could find out if I liked it without taking it out of the box and trying it, he rapidly changed the subject! So, Soul coming tomorrow, and I suspect will be winging it's way back the day after.....
