3 Customer service really does suck doesn't it?0 -
Well the Samsung Soul arrived this morning, and I'm still unsure about it, so will probably send it back and do the 30 days notice. ( or at least try to again!) Certainly dont feel any wow factor with this handset (maybe because it's pink and doesnt even look as stylish as its made out to be?) and cant see how you can talk on it without touching the magic screen with your cheek and disconnecting yourself or switching functions. (as on reviews I've read) Has anyone got one? The more I've thought about yesterdays conversations with 3, the more angry I am that, far from giving me a half decent loyalty deal, they actually tried to charge me £80 for a handset they offer free to everyone else. I'm not asking for anything extortionate, just a decent phone, something resembling the £14 loyalty discount I had last year, and a little bit of respect..the latter of which has been sadly lacking so far.0

How do you find out your loyalty discount?
Bored and still clinging/thinking of ringing about a BB. I WANT ONE!0 -
When I last upgraded, 18 months ago, they offered me £14 a month as loyalty discount..ie paying £21 for a £35 (direct talker) tariff. I've been with them pretty much from the start, and for three years was actually paying for two 3 phones, so they got their money's worth out of me. This year they say there are no loyalty discounts (then in next breath say that if you change tariffs you lose your loyalty discount!) Best I've been offered this time was £2 off for 4 months. I could understand it if I was trying to wrangle a really top phone at a silly price but I'm not. Even the guy in the shop admitted they'd sent me the most rubbish phone in shop as my first upgrade (I sent it back!)I feel very let down to be honest, and dont feel I want anything to do with them anymore0

I've been with them for 18 months and just feel I'm worthy of wrangling down on a BB but God knows. All I want it for is around the £20 all in and I'll say yes!0

Alex: have you given your notice and got a PAC yet?0 -
Yeah, got my PAC. Rang them earlier, said they've been out of stock for the last 10 days. I wish I was patient in the hope of getting something out of them but as my last bills been paid for etc it's tempting just to jump the !!!! over with an iPhone now.0

I currently have 3 contracts with 3. #1 is a 250 min 50 txt plan, expired last month. #2 is expiring on 16 June and is a M&M 300 deal. #3 is also M&M 300 but still 12 mths to run (OH also has a contract about to expire, all billed from one address).
Rang them tonight about numbers 1 & 2. Waited for the offers, and they were awful. Told them that I knew others had been offered Nokia E71 and full internet along with M&M 300 for £17 pm.
Best price he could offer??? £21.53 pm for each on the same deal.
I open the Sun today.... Same phone with free internet and email, 200 xnet mins, unlimited txts.... £20. I suspect they are taking the pee here. I am in the midst of calling them back. 15 mins so far on hold.
I need them to beat the deal above before I'll entertain them. I have got a PAC for the expired contract (within 2 mins of the call ending), but still have to wait 10 days before I can get the PAC for #2. I expect them to bow down and scrape when I mention the Sun deal. I don't think they will, but at least it's a bit of a stick to beat them with.
If you were in the same position, what would you expect??? Contract numbers 1 & 2 are both low usage on calls (less than 300). Approx 90 txts pm on contract 1, and 20 pm on #2. Will use whatever internet is available on both.
What is reasonable to expect?0 -

What i am surprised about is that i verbally gave my dob, postcode, mobile number, but was not asked to sign any documents.????????what they gave was the phone,a sheet of paper saying Upgrade Complete with a few more details on it and stapled to that was a till receipt showing....
Blackberry 9000 £375.00,
Discount
Upgrade discount -£375.00
TOTAL £0.00
Just spoke to the Manager of my Local Three store & he said they cant offer any "FREE" stuff with the BlackBerry let alone offering £5 discount on the Tariff. So I said someone online did, he said they either got a deal via Phones4You type place or he's "Bulling".
He did however confirm ALL Upgrades get a FREE PAYG Sim Card to use in your Old Mobile.
So has anyone had any offers/discounts with BlackBerry???Otherwise I'll have to pay FULL cost next week
