what day exactly did you get this offer as i was told by 3 staff members that the £5 300min 150texts ENDED on September 1st.
Please do let me know if you sorted out your deal on or after September 1st.
If you have any details who you spoke to that would be good.
Thanks0 -
Yes it was at the end of last week (31st!!)..I just called 333 and went through the options to 'thinking of leaving 3'.0

Don't expect good upgrade deals when YOU phone 3. Request the PAC or just give them the 30day notice... after about 2-3weeks, you can expect to receive a call from them with a better upgrade deal (most likely by which time you will have shopped around looking for a better deal, and in the process of porting number across, or already bought a new contract)!0

my contract with three finishes on 3-10-07. When i rang on sunday i was offered 300 xnet and all the rest for 10.00 a month or 500 xnet for 12.00 a month. I asked for this to go on my file. The lady gave me my pac no. I will wait and see if they offer me anything else. both offers without phone. been with them two years.0

I got a cold call from a jock claiming to be from 3 retentions department today. Odd, I thought, as ctt. isn't up until mid-November. Mobile no was similar to 3's, but ended 3325 rather than 3333. Tried to flog me the £20 talker tariff (500+100) at a £20 per month discount, down to £10 a month !!!
Tried to tell him I wasn't interested at the moment, but he got quite shirty with me, and being very pushy. He did say, though, that if I changed my mind I could dial 333 and go through to retentions closer to the end of my ctt.
The nature and pushiness of this chap made me VERY wary, as 3 are usually nice and polite when you talk to them. So, just be careful if you get a similar call...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
Easy to check - just call back (it's a normal mobile number so won't sting you) and you'll find it goes through to Three like their other numbers. I presume it's different for market research reasons - they can tell how many people respond to these calls as opposed to calling Three for other reasons.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I was left with one day of my contract left , when 3 phoned me again offering me a very good package. Its the 750 mins , 250 sms, mms, web ,£5 download , etc, all for £5 for life. This time I accepted as it was too good to refuse.
Hope this helps. Previously I kept refusing everything offered as I did not like their customer service. Now, the £5 download ensures that it will cost me nothing to use their service. Hope this helps.0 -

Just a word of warning...when it sounds too good to be true it usually is! I was offered a really good deal (not on mobile) by Virgin Media which was supposed to be for life. A year down the line, they have refused to honour it saying that it was only for 12 months
Anyway, hope you have better luck than me0 -
Well,I rung 3 again the other day,and they still wouldn't budge on the price of the VTT 2600, (£75pm) so it looks like I'm off to 02 with the 1200mins/1000texts deal, for £50,and I get the long weekends deal with it as well. (Free calls to 01,02,03 landlines/all mobiles on Sat/Sun/Mon.) I also get a choice of handsets. The downside? It's an 18 month contract, however, the minutes bundle works out at least 3200 mins a month.
So farewell 3,I think your service stinks,so you can put it where the sun don't shine.
Ken.That's my mutt in the picture above.0
