I did the same - seems to be their standard deal, which they might better if you haggle - I don't know. It's very good as it is. One thing I noticed is that if you agree to take part in the survey it tells the operative, which completely undermines the point of the survey!Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Noticed that aswell and thought how pointless, but it may be that as the advisor has no idea and as they are scrolling through the screens and about to end the call, I think the last screen that would have the goodbye salutation may prompt to transfer the customer to the survey.SLC: £13000+

1) 500mins & 100txt for 18mths at £18 for the term.
2) 400mins, 250txt, 25vidmin, 25mms & £5download for 18mths at £35 for the term.
Deal no 2 gives a credit of an awesome £595!
If you have asked for the phone to be cancelled...just wait a week or two and Im sure they will ring you and ask you if you want the deal.
You are much better off taking this kind of deal and getting a phone off ebay than getting a deal with a phone. If you take deal one which is what they were gonna give you for £20 a month and buy a phone for £180 then the deal will effectively only cost you £11 a month and avoid all cashback worries.
If you want a phone the deals are no where near as good, but for the amount you are saving with a sim only deal you cant go wrong.
And if you are thinking of getting another cashback deal elsewhere, why dont you get both.
Been trying sooo hard to get the second deal.
Have you been a customer for years, or have regular high bills?
I really want that deal!!!Young homeowner...with a large mortgage0 -
Renewed with 3 yesterday - my contract was due to run out today. I rang up 3 about 30 days ago, and asked for them to put me on payg after the contract end date as I was leaving. After reading this forum I expected them to ring me and make me some offer, having been a decent customer for 3 years. Any no call came and yesterday I rang up and was offered 500 min + 100 texts for £10/month. I was given £30 credit - and as myself and my brother both went onto this package we "recommended" each other and are supposed to be given another £30 in a little while. If that happens it will end up costing us £5/month - this package includes no handset0

Still a decent deal, but I think most people have had great deals when they have asked to leave three altogether, rather than just transfer to payg...SLC: £13000+

I rang and told them I wanted to cancel 2 of my contracts last month and apart from a poor offer they gave at the time, I've heard nothing from them and I've been with them for years! My contracts are due to be terminated tomorrow so I just rang to confirm it and was offered 300mins, 150texts, 25 vid mins, 25 mms and £5 downloads for £5 per month and no phone, or £17 per month with the Nokia 6288. 12 month contract, but remains at these prices after that.Took the £5 offer as my SE K800i s are under warranty for another year anyway. And I get £25 for staying... Quite happy with that!'Still dealing with my debt, but I'll get there. Keep smiling.'0

I'm on 3 at the moment in a cashback deal (just over a month remaining). Is it possible to sign up to a new cashback deal on 3 again, and port my number to my new contract?0

I dont think that is possible. You can port your number onto another company by getting a pay as you go sim then port back onto 3."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

Think I'll just give up my number then.

Coming to the end of my contract in October. Already had 3 offering various upgrades.
I`m currently on DT 1000 (750 mins 150 txts etc) with Sony 850i at £35 pm.
Best thing so far offered was the same tariff at £10 per month for 12 months if I kept my phone. They wouldn`t offer anything over 12 months as the Sony only has a 2 yr guarantee  I will reqeust a PAC code & give it until my deal runs out to see what else is on offer.
I`m in no rush to stay with 3 having experienced their woeful customer services.0
