I generally had a good service from 3 for the past 18 months on a £15 plan. I have moved to virgin sim only £10/month now because they didn't offer me any decent deals.

I had quidco £55
RAF £30
£25 sign up credit
£25 credit by mistake by 3.

So £270 - £135 = £135 . £7.50 per month

I'm waiting for new my phone and the contract starts on the day i recieve the phone. there is a 14 day cooling off period so long as the phone isnt used/damaged. Anyone know if this 14 day relates just to the handset or the whole contract? After the phone call I am still thinking I could do with more texts and would prefer to be on the mix/ match plan instead of the old 500/100 plan i'm on. Another reason for this is that it includes extra 3-3 minutes which most of my family are on 3 too. do you think i can still change plan if i give them a call?

The cooling off is the contract and its not 14 days because the phone has to be back in their possession by the 14th day. Call them.

I would advise anyone calling 3, to say yes to the customer service survey before you speak to anyone, I get the feeling the staff are more helpful then, as they know you are going to do a survey afterwards... just a thought

I had a phone call on my 3 mobile offering a years free mobile broadband and half price data charges. I ask for an email confirming the details so far nothing yet. Anybody else had a call from Manchester?

I am due an upgrade (3 months till contract end) called them today and they are offering what a new customer could have.

I have 2 x contracts on 300 mix & match at £15 each per month. Should I expect to get a better phone other than what a new customer would get or am I asking to much?

I was hoping for the Samsung Soul and maybe an internet add on chucked in.

me dad got two contracts with three, both ending january.

called them, and they offered on both contracts, 300 mins to all networks, 150 text, 2000 3-to-3 mins, £5 web, 25 video call, 25 mms, and both 6600 slide for free, all for £10 pm for 12 months.

In 2007 my wife and I opened at the same time a contract each as follows. £17.50 750 minutes 500 texts plus all of the other items you say you are getting plus the latest Nokia phone. For the first six months all was well. On the seventh month We receive bills for £35 per month. When queried they claimed the deal was for a discount only for six months. Fortunately the manager in the shop, had at my request at the time of starting the contracts countersigned them £17.50 for 18 months. You could never believe what I had to go through to get what we were contacted for. Even had verbal threats on the phone threatening to cut off service. When the contract was finished we were offered which we now have had to settle for as it was just too much aggro to go to another company and get the phone numbers ported. "Number is with too many friends etc" We have 300 mix and match 300 3to3 mins and a Sony Ericcsson phone £15 per month.
It really gets my goat at what people on this site claim they are getting.

Also the other day a phone call on my mobile from a "Joseph" at Three in Manchester offering free mobile internet for one year and half price data costs and 200 texts. When I asked for details by email he claimed Three don't work like that!
Sorry it's long winded but Three stinks!
