I sent this message to their Executive Office.

    Dear Sir or Madam.

Earlier this year my wife and I, after our contract with you finished decided to stay with Three even though the offer given to us was most derisory. I have been monitoring an advice website for several months. I would like to know why we were not offered anything better and more cost effective than your offer. It would appear that Three allow individuals to make these decisions. what can be done?

    Yours faithfully

All you get now is the following reply. I am/was not happy with the deal offered in July at the end of mine and my wifes Contracts.

300 mins plus 300 3-3 mins £15 per month Sony eric 660i phone.

    Regards

Chajun send the same message to '3' in My3. I'm talking to retention just now and they are offering the same as their website so I requested for a PAC. I was on the phone with a woman for more than 40mins and she kept offering the website offer even when I pointed out that their competitors offer much better deals for me. Spoken to 3 people in all and same offer as website.

How long does it takes them to send the PAC? Edit: - They just sent me the PAC.

Now the question is shall I wait for a call from them to offer me something better or I should go onto virgin sim only £10 - 200 mins + 200 text 30days contract which ends 31/12/08.

Have been waiting all month since requesting my PAC and no call (and this is the second month as I didn't get round to moving) so no guarantee they will call.

    Hi there,
My 3 contract comes up for renewal on the 3rd January and it's in my interests to stay with 3. When it comes to upgrading I would quite like to have Mobile Broadband thrown into the mix. Does anyone have any experience in getting Mobile Broadband with their upgrade, or is it dealt with by a different department? Thanks for your help,

    Ed

my wifes first renewal is up in January, around the 10th. Her current tarriff is called video talk text 350, 200 talk mins + 100 texts costing £10/month (should be £25 but got a £15 life discount due to their error)

She has been offered, from the call centre she phoned to cancel, Nokia 3120/sony ericcson K350i for same price £10\month but with 50 less texts - is the person she talked to from the retentions dept or just a call centre person?? - Do we wait for a call back or phone and ask for it??

I'd double check that it really is 12 months.
My internet max is only £5 per month anyway, what will yours go to?

If you're happy with it :D

I reconfirmed it with the guy about 10 times as I didn't expect to be given it especially on that plan and with that phone. Plus he was scottish so there wasn't any lost in translation stuff you get with india.

for the internet max, i pay £5 from months 2-9. 1st month is free and i can choose whether to have it for the last 3 months.

I'm happy with it, but just thought i would get other opinions.

I'm on a £20 a month priceplan at the moment (old VTT700 with £15 loyalty discount) and have an internet add on and they wanted me to pay £45 for the E71 so on that basis looks like you've got a good deal.
