My contract is up at the end of the month so I called Three and said I wanted to leave, they gave me a deal of the New INQ1 phone on a Mix and Match 500 with
500 minutes or texts or any mix of the two - anytime, any network
FREE Unlimited mins on 3 to 3 calls every month
FREE Voicemail every month
Internet Max Unlimited 3 to 3 Minutes
All for £20.50 per month.
The Phone came last Friday which was great but looking on the My3 account I could see I was being charged for Data used, so I had a look at what My3 said about my price plan. I them noticed that they had put me on something called Internet 10. After doing a google this turned out to be a 10meg data allowance. I called Three to find out why I was on the Internet 10 and not Internet Max package as sold to me and they keep asking me if I want to upgrade to Internet Max.
I keep telling them why do I need to pay extra for an upgrade to Internet Max when I should already be on it for £20.50 as sold to me. I Have so far been passed on to 8 or 9 people and spent in total 3 hours plus trying to get this fixed (1.5 hour tonight) . I have been promised so called call backs in the next 24 hour 2 times , but no one ever calls back. I have now told them I want to leave and give the phone back but they insist that as I have used the phone I am not allowed to give it back. I am now waiting for another callback in the next 24 hours. I just don't know what I can do now they have me well screwed,

3 now have a complaints dept, login to my3 & email 3 from there requesting a complaint about an unresolved issue customer services have failed to resolve to your satisfaction & you request the complaints dept look into the matter,
I waited over 2 weeks & emailed & within 5 hrs the complaints department called me back, the advisor stated the complaint was out her remit & I was passed to her line manager, Sanjay could not resolve the issue himself & I was passed to his Dept Manager, she resolved the issues she could & that the main issue of fraud & overcharges would have to be passed up another 3 managers ( customer contact centre have no proceedure for fraud as per 3UK guidance issed by 3 to 3 Global Services in India ! ) via protocol to send to the Exec Office
the first advisor told me the previous manager 2 weeks ago whom told me her manager was forwarded the issues actually closed my complaint down & left no notes other than that ?? & customer options were billing me £15 a month not £5 a month as agreed on the upgrade ! I asked the call recording be pulled - all upgrade calls ARE recorded as that is your agreement to extending your contract......was assured I would pay £5 from her
its taken 3 1/2 to get this far on my complaints - writing to customer services UK address in april resulted in a " manager " calling me back from India in April who refused to resolve the issues, then I was informed that " manager " in a PAC call over the 1 min billing issue leaving in Sept - I had not infact spoke to a manager ?????
email from my3.three.co.uk & you get a tracking email reference with anything you send them, you can also request contact by email/letter only
1) setup then login to my3.three.co.uk and choose "my account" then "marketing"
make sure you select that 3 cant call your mobile, landline, office etc....
leave contacting you by email/letter as the only options THEY are allowed to contact you
2) fire off email to 3 " contact us " from my3.three.co.uk with whatever issue you want resolved/investigated etc, stating you have omitted 3 contacting you via any other means than email or letter about your account &/or billing address as per your choices on my3
3) if you recieve a call, politely explain your position & ask the operator to comply with the T&C you/they have agreed to via my3 for contact between you and 3, end the call & email 3 from my3.three.co.uk the tracking reference of your contact, the time & date of call
& it is against the T&C you have stipulated via your service agreements on my3 for 3 to contact you via any other means than you have agreed to & if they continue to do so you will enforce your rights, ask them to resolve the issue via email/letter contact - further non-commital to such will result in contact with Ofcom ( state the https://www.ofcom.org.uk address and relevent ofcom webpages ) whom will issue a reference number & you shall then be contacting the Executive Office about this breach of PRIVACY & refusal of 3 Global Services to deal with your complaint/issues etc which form a part of the T&C both parties agreed to at contract commencement/upgrade
REMEMBER - customer services form as much of the contract T&C as does the agreement 3 to supply sim/mobile to use the service airtime allocated via your priceplan & failure to provide such customer care & privacy are 2 T&C breaches of the contract you and 3 have agreed toSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... I was offered the following RETENTION deal yesterday, which I accepted:

-Refurbished Nokia 6500
-750 Talk mins
-150 Texts
-50 Video Calls
-50 Picture Msgs
-£5 downloads
Lifetime contract of £10 / month
12 month minimum contract

I see some of you guys are paying £5/month for this - should I ring up and cancel or ask for the £5 deal...or request a Nokia N95!

Well I just got off the phone to 3 and am not impressed at all,
Currently on an 18th month texter plan - £15 a month (75 any time mins and 600 texts)
Contract is currently expired, on the handset Sony Ericsson k800i.
The upgrades they offered from the cancellation department were:
£15 a month mix and match 300 - INQ1 phone free
£15 a month mix and match 300 - Sony Ericsson W595
£13 a month sim only deal - 500 mins
I requested my pac code off them after they refused to give me any type of any deal on an LG Renoir.0 -

thats a great deal, I only got it on £5 as the woman read my 3 years of hell notes on my account....if you have signal problems email a complaint from my3.three.co.uk & ask for a alternative Nokia replacement to the same spec & state your local 3Store manager stated to you 3 know these 6500 all have faults with signal issue & he also told you to google when you got homeSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... ask them to give you £10 a month off Unlimited texts ( 3000 ) and 500 mins on sim only @ £25, its based on discontinued Videotalk 500 plan with the text bolt on ( avail on 12 & 18 monthers ) avail on three.co.uk

Hello all,
I have been offered the Nokia 6500 slide on the 750mins deals with 150 txts etc. However they want to charge me £13 which obviously is more than a lot of people are paying. I would prefer to get the mix and match 500 with the free calls to 3 numbers.
Has anyone cancelled an upgrade and gotten a better deal? I keep getting told by the customer service that if I cancel the upgrade I will not get another offer...which I don't believe but if someone has first hand experience, on the upgrade cancellation please let me know how I can proceed.
