    Hello all,

I have been offered the Nokia 6500 slide on the 750mins deals with 150 txts etc. However they want to charge me £13 which obviously is more than a lot of people are paying. I would prefer to get the mix and match 500 with the free calls to 3 numbers.

Has anyone cancelled an upgrade and gotten a better deal? I keep getting told by the customer service that if I cancel the upgrade I will not get another offer...which I don't believe but if someone has first hand experience, on the upgrade cancellation please let me know how I can proceed.

    Many thanks

The DirectTalker1000 is the best deal ever, you are getting £22 off the £35 priceplan & no other network comes close to that value, remember discounts are based on your incoming calls revenue & how much 3 make off you if you underuse/overuse your plan allowance so everyone is different on offers

    £13 a month

    Nokia 6500
    750 X network minutes
    150 text messages
    50 picture messages
50 minutes X net video calling
£5 of Planet 3 inclusive downloads

ask them to throw in some free 3-3 calls, it costs them nothing

MnM is only avail on 18 months

Unlimited texts with 500 or 750 mins are the only 12 months 3 offer now unless retenions offer you a old plan

    Thanks Diamonds,

If I ask for free 3-3 minutes, it's likely they will tell me they can't do that with this offer. They did offer me 2000 free 3-3 minutes but that was with a sim free deal for £11 a month on a old talk and text 900 which I refused and next day they offered me this. I don't mind the deal, just the phone is rubbish which they said when I get it next week, I should call 3 and arrange an exchange for another one, don't know why they don't just offer a better one now...

they might give you 300 or 2000 3-3 mins as these are bolt-on's, the unlimited 3-3 can only be bolted to MnM plans

My dad was on the £17.50 DirectTalker offer for the last 18 months, however his contract deal was over and was back to £36.00! Too pricey for his liking, he only ever used the voice minutes and most of them where to landline calls anyway.

He got on the phone to Three and they would not offer anything decent, the standard mix and match for £15 when he tried last time.

I investigated for him altenative price plans, he was not to fussed about a new phone and was happy with his current phone, so I thought for him the Orange Racoon 15 would be good, £14.68 for 300 anytime minutes, 150 texts and unlimited landline Sim only deal perfect!

Got on the phone to three, after some haggling he mentioned the Orange offer, the operator was taking none of it, he went on the Orange website and checked to see if it was true, even after that he only offered Mix and Match 700 for £16, he was like 700 minutes anytime, my dad was not impressed and offered to cancel, few minutes later, for £16 my dad got 700 Mix and match, the standard free 300 3-3 minutes and on top for free, the manager decided to throw in the unlimted landline bundle! Result! 12 month contract, can upgrade anytime. My dad was pretty happy with that, the key is don't give up! You can haggle with them. That allowed us to downgrade our BT package to the very basic still including unlimited landline evenings and weekend.

There is no such thing as unlimited bolt on with 3 its either 2000 3-3 minutes or 300 3-3 minutes, if you check my planet 3 you will see that the unlimited offer shows as 2000 minutes on your account.

can someone please clarify this - kind of weird when they show it as fair usage on skype but not on standard calls.

Makes you wonder if 3 are illegaly advertising "unlimted" when they only add 2000 minutes to the account

MnM plans used to advertise 300 free 3-3, 2000 was if you had more than 1 a/c but now MnM say UNLIMITED 3-3
