I rang 3 back to say i'll be sending the phone back that they just sent me as if I go through quidco and get my dad to take out my 2nd contract in his name i'll save £92.50 in total including refer a friend which is £30 credit for each contract. It's more hassle, but worth it.

Well i've recently moved to 3 as no one could beat the deal they were offering on the phone i wanted. So far everything has been fine. No problems ordering the phone or porting my number across and i have better signal at home and work than i did with orange.

I've currently got an 18 month contract with 3. Its only £15 a month and I get loads of minutes and texts which I am happy with. It expired in March but have been told I can get an upgrade at the end of November. My problem is that my phone has broke and I'd like to get the upgrade now. Do you reckon they would do it?

I was initially asked to pay £30 one-off, which I could haggle down to £15. I think I could have tried a bit longer and harder, but decided it was not worth it in the end.

Think this is a good deal - wanted the a better spec'd phone but for £8 per month can't really complain. Just worried as I have heard bad things about the 6500 slide and '3' ie acting up.

Did you phone them or did they phone you - and is this recent (in November)?

Anon - They called me last Friday ie 7/11/08. I had asked for pac (3rd time - as the other time forgot to do anything!). Hope that helps. Shak

and rightly so, its garbage! Worst nokia Ive had. It looks nice and the features are good, but the signal is bad, the camera button is dodgy and it lets off this high pitched scream when its switched on
