just got a text from 3 saying they are to charge £1 for paper bills.... can this be a way to get out of the contract?Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!0

you can keep your 500 mins £15 but this will limit your choice of phone. you may be able to add a text bundle though, so give them a call.
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

just been on the phone with Retentions and got
Sony Ericsson C902 - free
on Mix and Match 300 for £20
but i get 1 month free line rental and i get to upgrade again in 14 months and 10 days(!)..so it works out at about £18 a month.
was on the £15 a month Talk and Text, so didn't have much bargaining power.
14 days to decide..0 -
That deal isn't great sorry you can get that off of their website for £20 bar the month free. As for the upgrade after 14months that just means that your next contract if its an 18 month contract will run for 22 months as they add it on when I questioned them about it.0

Was on a 6 month contract from around 6 months ago £18/month for 500 mix n match. Gave 30 days notice to go to PAYG, did not get any call from the retentives at all. Now on PAYG :-( Was hoping for a £5/month deal0

As a upgrade, for £15 a month and £15 one-off for a Nokia E71 I was offered 250 min, 50 texts, free voicemail and 2000 3-to-3 mins. I can have usual internet bolt-on for extra. It suits my usage, should I accept or still haggle? 18 months contract, I was £15 talker before.0

Just got off the phone with them after also sending them an email with regards to an offer someone else received off this website, but they won't budge. Took out the n95 8gb in the end for the same price as on the website as she knew I'd called a lot trying to get a better deal. Frustrating, but it was still a good deal.0

Wouldn't it be better (if just going for a new deal the same as the website) to do it via a cashback site, and at least have the cashback if they aren't doing any retention deals?0
