3 Retention Deals

If you only have 2 days left, then your PAC is as good as expired now. (A new network wouldn't be able to get any number transfer completed in time).
If you want to leave them, you will need to start again asking for a PAC or giving in your notice.0 -
!!!!!!, so I am stuck with '3' for potentially another 30 days?0
-
Yes.
If you want to be sure your contract ends and transfer your number, then the switch must be completed before the PAC expires.
Or if you don't want to keep the number, just give them notice. Then your account will be closed at the expiry of the notice.0 -
so basically if I want to keep my phone number and not pay 3 for another month I should phone them up and grovel....
I was kind of hoping it would be the other way round.....0 -
What will you be grovelling about?
They won't be able to help regarding extending the PAC's life - you need a new one, and paying for another month looks inevitable!0 -
I was hoping to be offered a great retentions deal but am not even getting the phone calls in the first place!0

Well,i waited 2 and a half weeks after giving my 30 days notice and accepting my pac off 3 and didnt get one phone call off them so today i bought two phones with 18 months contracts off orange online. The phones are arriving in 4 days, then apparently i have to ring the orange cust services and give them my pac codes,so good job i acted a week or so in advance of my pac expiring. Three have a lot to learn about keeping their customers, from what i read they are leaking customers like a sieve over the minute rounding, and thats without their poor retentions dept!! .They need to ditch the indian call centres for a kick off, their customer services are appalling.Like i said its oranges gain and 3`s loss, two mobile phone contracts at £20 a month for 18 months is something you would think 3 would be trying to hang onto, but no they dont give a stuff!!!!0

I'm not surprised Three aren't phoning with offers to people asking for PACs. At the end of the day they have no idea when or if the PAC will be used. If you terminate your contract they have a deadline to work to.0

I didnt ask for my pac,i rang up to give my 30 days notice and the guy in the foreign call centre said it would be better to take my pac code,so i followed his advice,i asked on 3 or 4 seperate occasions which was better the 30 days notice or the pac code and each time he said take the pac-so i did as he advised, anyway its all done and dusted now and im extremely happy with my deal off orange-touch screen phone, unlimited texts,200 mins and a free 8gb memory card for £20 a month.0 -
