Don't give up hope!! One girl at work had PCOS and was told it would be very unlikely that she would conceive. Thirteen years later she is mother to 4 boys!!

Another girl I am working with at the moment has been trying for a baby for years. She saw the Consultant earlier this year and was told that her chances of conceiving naturally were nil, and also that there was nothing they could do for her. They agreed to give her a course of IVF but unfortunately her eggs died before they could be implanted. Whilst waiting to go back for her follow up appointment, she conceived naturally!! Sadly she had a miscarriage, but it proves that the Consultants are not always right and that there is always hope!

Good luck and I hope your dreams come true.

Another miracle story..told highly unlikely to fall pregnant and if I did, would not likely carry. 2 years of investigate treatments/ops, etc. That was at age 20.

Fell pregnant naturally 12 years later, carried to full term and produced a healthy baby boy!

Miracles (and surprises) definitely do happen, so don't give up hope!

• My best friend was told that she would have trouble conceiving as she suffered from PCOS and was also very overweight (morbidly obese). She lost 4 stone and damn me, she falls pregnant... with twins! She was utterly and completely shocked as she wasn't even trying.

my aunt and uncle tried for 20 years to fall pregnant, then at 43 she though she was menopausal (she'd had to be chemically put through puberty at 18 as it never happened on its own, she'd been told that she would likely be menopausal in her 40's) and turned out she was 4 months pregnant with twins! they are 13 now.
they are also non-identical so she ovulated twice in the same month!
• Also, my MIL had abdominal surgery as a child, it was the 1950s and they weren't as careful with their poking and prodding. Her mom was told to tell her when she was older that she might not be able to have kids due to the effects of the surgery. Five pregnancies later she had 2 girls and 2 boys x

I have PCOS/Endo, I have had 2 children, luckily just happened for me in a shortish time.

However my sister in law had 3 miscarriages and then my beautiful niece was one in December :) (she has both PCOS/endo)

My friend and her sister both have the same and they both have two children each! It was after years of upset mind.

My Mum had a friend who tried for 20 years, then resigned herself to the fact that she would never become a mother, took early retirement, sold houses, set of to travel the world and have the time of her life, 6 months later, back home and pregnant!

An old friend of mine was told (well her Mum was on her behalf) at a very young age she could never have children, she has two!

Even though it is hard, you really have to try and not think about it, then nature will take it's course.

After her miscarriages (this is after 8 years of not getting pregnant at all) my sister in law and brother were considering adoption, then they finally got their bundle!

I have that many people close to me with this problem and I have always said, if you have the love to give, it WILL happen. Never say never because life has a funny way of throwing surprises in our path!

• Try the bible. Some old trout in there cheated on the old man and got up the duff without a sh@g. (or so she says)

• Lol. You lot make me smile, my periods have always been irregular (one two, miss a few...) and one miscarriage, but OH wants a few kids, so fingers crossed there's hope for us

• Hi- just feel like I need some encouraging stories today so........

...has anyone got any miracle pregnancy stories? Has anybody ever been told they are very unlikely to fall pregnant naturally but then have?? Or has anybody suffered from lack of periods but then fell pregnant? :o

I got pregnant with a mirena coil in place, then the baby survived a does of fragmin (blood thinning), a laparoscopy under general anesthetic, morphine injections, 2 miscarraige threats and now have a faulty placenta

But he is stil in there :)
