((huge hugs for lyndseyann))
For all of us that have had miscarriages, my friend's mum had seven before having her (after having her older sister) and lost my friend's twin brother, but she has two lovely girls and one of the best friends anyone could have."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Another PCOS sufferer (also endemetriosis and a husband who was told he had problems with sperm mortility). I've just put our gorgeous 3 month old to bed :T
It took us 5 years of trying and a laproscopy before they told us we had unexplained infertility and would never conceive naturally. We were due to start having IVF the month we found out we were pregnant, having been told that the chances of conceiving even with IVF were slim.
I had hit rock bottom pretty much and now we are the happpiest couple alive, ever, I am sure of it.
I had reflexology (didnt believe in it but thought I might as well try it) and was taking metformin. I had also just lost about a stone and a half in weight before I got pregnant (with help from the metformin I think) and so my BMI was in the normal range.
I had also started taking a range of vits and minerals after doing a tremendous amount of research on what to take (I will put up a list if you are interested) and we conceived just after a very restful holiday of a lifetime.
There is hope, believe me, I had really pretty much given up and thought it would be easier just for hubby and me not to have the stress and desperation in our life and to accept a childless future together.
Because of all our 'problems' we had special care during my pregnancy, regular scans, saw the specialist at the hospital etc but all went really well, ok, well the birth wasn't great, but hey we have our lovely little baby to show for all of that!
Good luck to you, I am sending positive baby dust your way ....0 -

Hi- I am so pleased for you- congratulations on your new baby!
Yes if you could put a list up (or PM me) I would be very grateful! (I tried Agnus Castus for 5 months but it made me spot constantly and made my skin very itchy so I have come off it now)
Thanks :A2008 Wins Total- £315.27

I lady I used to know was told she would never be able to conceive naturally.
They had umpteen attempts at IVF, which all failed. Their finances were getting tight, so they sat down and decided they had enough money for one last IVF attempt, and if that didn't work they would have to accept they were not meant to be parents.
At the last minute, the lady got cold feet and decided that she couldn't go through the stresses of the IVF treatment and the heartache if it didn't work.
They decided they would blow the money on a luxury Carribbean holiday and use that as a starting point and celebration of their future life as a couple without children.
When she came back off holiday, she discovered she was pregnant
I met her at ante-natal when I was having one of my boys and I've always thought it was a lovely story. She had a baby girl, and we went to a mother and baby group for a while, but they moved away and I lost touch. Here I go again on my own....0 -
It always seems to be people who have given up on fertility treatment or who are just about to start who have the miracles!! Isn't it strange!!
Again thanks to everyone for your encouraging stories! xxx2008 Wins Total- £315.27

After I has DS1, we were trying for another, but my periods stopped. After a year I had tests and was told I had developed PCOS, but I was 'lucky that I'd had a child already'
After 6 years, we eventually had DS2:T and I decided I wanted to try for a girl...I was pregnant within 2 weeks, couldn't believe how easily it had happened - thought it would take years again. We now have a beautful DD who is now 6 months old.:DCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
