RWG's New Website, Plans and new Charges

@Stompa AFAIK any credit on the account will not change. IIRC they previously said that credit will not expire, the only time that could become a problem is if you let the SIM become inactive, see latest Ts&Cs for detail

I think on the date of your monthly top up of the free bundle, they'll simply not top it up and that's the end of it.
Good while it lasted.

I just contacted Now Mobile on Chat to ask how much it would cost to renew my partner's 50/50/250 bundle after 19/08/26.
Like talking to a wall, however I eventually got told that the bundle would renew on 19/8/26 until 19/11/26 which was the original expiry date! They said it will not be possible to renew it after 19/11/26.
This is the opposite to what Phones4Chris was told yesteday.
I have saved the chat so if you would like me to post it in full please let me know.

It's also likely that any unused minutes, texts, data will also expire, so it might be prudent to add a small amount of credit, just in case.

Thanks. So basically the options are:
- Do nothing, in which case the SIM will revert to pure PAYG on the expiry date.
- Turn on auto-renew before the expiry date, in which case a £2pm 100/100/750 tariff might be available.
- Turn on auto-renew after the expiry date, in which case only plans listed on their website (starting at £5pm) will be available.
is that correct?
So has anybody actually tried auto-renewing, and if so what deal was offered?

I havent had chance to ring them. But judging by feedback responses so far it doesn't seem very hopeful.
Ive ordered a sim from another company today. Ive only got a bit of credit left on my main sim. Enough for a 6 minute call after the 1st. If it doesn't renew I shall port my main number away. I'll just use the 2nd sim for my data as theres more money left on that.
Ive got a £5 Red Plus showing under 30 day and £5 Red Max under 12 month. Im confused though when reading the terms for the Red Plus it says only last for 30 days under Product Description So presumably you have to remember when it's day 30 and buy it again. The bit that confuses me is under the t&cs part it says it automatically renews after 12 months. But how can it if its only a 30 day tariff??? Anybody explain this to me.

@Stompa 1. & 2. is what I'd expect. I doubt 3. would be an option at all, as I would expect the Plan to have disappeared from the current listing under the My Subscriptions menu option once it expires. I'm going to experiment with mine on the 31st July and will post what happens.
One thing I have spotted is that the "Plans" listed as My Subscriptions on the Home page are incomplete, you need to look at the "My Subscriptions" Menu option. I've had a complementary plan of minutes and texts added as a result of my complaint and it doesn't show on the Home page.

That's always the case that unused minutes/texts/data disappear when the plan expires and a new bundle appears when one is renewed/added.
The minimum top-up now seems to be £5 on the website My Account, don't know about vouchers from a PayPoint, perhaps someone who's bought one may know. But you can add credit at any time, don't have to have an active plan (but note - no credit and no plan will means no calls/texts/data until top-up).0 -
Not entirely the opposite of what I was told, I did comment that there was no mention of how long that the option to Auto Renew for those would continue. We'll see in due course. It's obvious that they can "twiddle"/add/change some things (add credit etc) whilst you are on the phone to them.
