My "£2" Teaser bundle which has been free to date originally due to expire in Aug.2027 is now 1st Aug.2026 - no warning of the change!

I was a little confused until I checked back on your previous posts, so you've been paying £3.50 p/m for this bundle - but when did they last take a payment?

You shouldn't lose your humber, if you have credit on the account you just get charged at their out of bundle rates. If you have no credit then you won't be able to call/etc and if you don't use it for 90 days etc as per the Ts&Cs then you may have problems.

When you look at the Account Subscription page (mine for the £2 Teaser bundle) it still shows the option to "Auto Renew" and if I select it they want to take payment. Does yours show that still and what happens if you select it?

Essentially, if you now look at the 30 day and 12 month Plans pages, they've changed them all, the original ones (the Teasers in particular) have gone, no more. I wonder IF the Auto Renew works, it'll be a case of those with these Plans will be allowed to keep them as long as they Auto Renew, but they won't be available for New subscriptions or if you let it lapse?

    @Beachcomber_252
Thanks, yes I'm aware of that but as a low user like @alanjones60 as I never used all the allowance in the £2 Teaser bundle but where I need a Data burst when away I'd get an Add-on. So at the moment I'm undecided whether to port my main RWG number to Now, but will see if the £2 Teaser can still be Auto Renewed and if it's cost effective to do so ! It's still 1p p/MB out of bundle.

The problem with switching to O2 Classic 3-2-1 (I have one for my main number but only used occasionally for outgoing to keep it alive - been using the RWG for the few outgoing texts/calls etc) is that if you buy an O2 bundle you can't now go back to Classic so the only way to keep it is to use a Bolt On, they are expensive in comparison.

@MMCN72 I've found History now working BUT see entries I'm not sure about so will need to check and post back about that.
@ScratchyCat I did post about those 10p/15p rates in a previous post here or on one of the other threads.

I'm tempted to try the "Auto Renew" in the last day or two of the month even if only for one try (amusingly the registered bank card also expires at the end of the month!).

The interesting thing about all the New RWG plans is the cheapest is now £5 but if you need the Data, it and the others are better value than most others elsewhere - eg. if you want an EE signal, the £12 Silver Plus gives you 80GB compared to EE's £13 for 75GB!
For low usage the Now £2.50 Bundle is cheaper but their other bundles aren't as good as RWG!
Will need to look carefully at my usage to decide the best options for 3 RWG SIMs (one is the other half's spare).

I was wondering if that date is just when we get the allowance renewed hopefully because no one has had any information from them that we are looseing the free sim. surely we would have to get notified to give everybody a chance to move there number.

Many thanks for the warning. I'm sure many might be caught out. I've given RWG the benefit of the doubt up till now, but what on earth are they doing. I knew something was fishy when it wouldn't let me register my account without entering my bank details.

I bought a 250/250/2 for two years on 1 Oct 2025 for £60. The expiry date was showing correctly 1 Oct 2027. Now showing 1 Aug 2026! Outrageous. For some reason I have a balance of £15. The website keeps changing. I can't find any PAYG options or even what the calling charges are.

My main concern is not losing my number. That would cause endless grief. Will have a think for a day or two. Maybe ASDA or even NOW. I'm not a heavy user.

Yes, I started with RWG in September 2023 and they debited my credit card on the 27th. Since then the transaction date on my credit card has always had them take £3.50 on 26th of every month. In May this year the payment didn't happen on 26th. Instead it was taken on 10th June. Then on 26th June they took another £3.50. All good - May's payment late but all balanced and up to date.

I suppose the big (well, in the scheme of it "big" is overstating it!) question is "what happens tomorrow?". If they take their £3.50 that would take me towards the end of next month - but the "contract" is due to expire on 1st August.

My expiry date has also moved forward by two months to August.

I only use my RWG number for incoming calls, so I'm planning to add some one-off credit and just send the occasional text to keep it alive.

I THINK that should work, but time will tell.

The cheapest plan I can see now is the 30 day £5 RED PLUS.

(unlimited text, calls and 5gb of data).

Looks like the teaser at £2 has gone.

No notification about the free bundle expiring and what options are available from RWG.

    Now mobile have a £2.50 plan 100/100/1gb.

The £2 bundle still works by text.
