Is that any different than before the editor update?

No change to that as far as I am aware, the same as before and ultimately it is the users responsibility to adequately protect their device(s).

For some reason on desktop Chrome I can't expand longer quotes when reading a post. The chevron is there at the bottom of the post but clicking does not work. OK on Firefox though, and mobile Chrome is OK too.
Chrome on Linux with ADP installed.
Anyone know what I need to change?

Hi @cathybird
The return of HTML is very unlikely.
It's very unusual these days for sites to allow it to be changed by contributors. Especially because one of the highest priorities is - rightly - accessibility, and changing the HTML allows users to do things that don't meet Accessibility standards. For the images you use, please try some of the new features, like tables, or other image placing options.

(Note that there is a little bug currently where the first row can't have more than 1 word, so best to experiment from the 2nd row.)

There seems to be a bug. I've already asked our provider to look into it.
This issue never occurred in testing. Unfortunately when we test some issues don't arise until they are switched on here and meet our huge forum of users using it simultaneously.

The only difference is that there is an attachments button - which is redundant as it can only upload images in the same way you can from the Image icon.
We may consider allowing uploading of other file types in the future if we're 100% sure it's safe.
For now, if you try to upload anything other than image you will receive this message:

Note Chrome in Incognito mode is OK for that specific issue.

It looks like there's a full-stop in the first cell creating the spacing?:

It's worth noting that there's currently a little bug meaning that the first row can only have single words when the table is created on the forum, but from above, looks like it's fine when pasted in.

Does the quote function just link to the quoted post, rather than copying the text?
If so, then quoting for posterity wouldn't work if the original poster blanks or deletes their post and all the quotes of it follow suit.
As we know, sometimes posters delete the content of their original post once they have got the answer they want (or if they have a bit of a tantrum if they haven't got the answer they expected) in which case permanent quoting of the post means the thread at least retains some use to other forum members who have a similar issue.
If the quotes are just a link to the quoted post then deletion/editing could render the thread useless and/or allow the original poster to claim they never said what they said.
This also matters to me because sometimes I make a point of quoting what I'm replying to before giving advice so it is clear the advice is based on the information available at the time - just in case there were any comeback at a later date. With the old system the quote was frozen in time. If the new system means the quoted text can be amended by the original poster I think I'll be more reluctant to offer advice in those situations in future.
