I've been looking everywhere, I've just had an email today from Bimble solar to say that you can only get the Hypontech dongle with an inverter in the UK, they have some in Holland that he is trying to source but said I'm better off trying eBay.

The Soluna dongle can only monitor the battery and can't set any charge times so no use.

And there we have it folks. Northern Gas Heating has been in liquidation since the 9th of April and we never even knew.

Same administrators as Senapt.

Their kit is sat in my shed and has been without power for months - do you think we will ever hear from them again?

I am not sure how to even charge this battery up again as the inverter has no power - any ideas?

In fact all of his companies have either gone or are about to be struck off. Senapt Limited which is the main one was ended late Jan.

The one I sent you got lost. Not sure how it was special delivery - but I have another one. I am doing a UK road trip next month i will arrange to actually meet you and deliver it as once that's gone I won't have another one

It's frustrating, I don't know whether the batteries are compatible with other systems, Soluna have said that only 10kw LV are compatible with each other. I wouldn't know how to charge it without an inverter sorry.

That's frustrating, somewhere, there is a box full of them just sat idle.

All the assets will be sold off as part of the liquidation. If they get to me in the next few months they are welcome to come and remove their kit. The door of the shed they charged me £400 for has a 2 inch gap inthe door now - so rain will kill it anyway in Winter.

Well, I guess with Tomato Energy, Senapt (in all forms) and Northern Gas Heating all dead, and the administrators 99% unlikely to ever come back to us. I have removed their panels and put my own up (and put all the kit in a shed) - and now my house is not going to have an issue when I sell it

well after lots and lots of searching, I’ve finally found, ordered and received a WiFi dongle. If it helps anyone Didn’t pay for delivery and came 1st class. Plugged in, scanned QR and up and running.

Just google HED-WF Hypontech and electrical wholesaler comes up.
