Senapt comms/senapt limited /northerngasheating accounts being overdue- this is bad?
It isn't good, but in general the whole group has a poor track-record of meeting their statutory filing obligations so it is not the first time they have been late with one or more of their entities.

I won't hold out any hope of hearing from anyone again then. It's like a very slow train crash is this.
  • I hope at some point they (NGH) come up with an offer for us to purchase the system .as they (hopefully) still have the ability to visit the properties and adjust the equipment and issue the various certification

Someone hasn't realised they haven't got a clue about Energy and has registered a bunch of new companies...

Including the one he named a while back as his planned successor for Tomatopia. Don't fall for it.

So he is planning to replace Tomato and Mywatts and Senapt with alternatives? This is beyond BatS*it crazy!

BROOKSON LIMITED ACSP has confirmed that they have verified the identity of Farouk Alhassan to the standard set by Companies House and is satisfied that the required personal information is true.

The verification checks were completed on 22 October 2025."

Say what now? He got verified for this before TE hit the deck? hmm

They won't - they told me to do one when I asked for MCS - a lot of (IMHO) stupid people in the TE FB groups I used to be a party to have paid for MCS/DNO but that can be taken back at any time by NGH.

As for buying it - my battery was at 91% and refused to work at any temp below 8 degress. I wouldn't take that battery if it was free. Certainy not worth the £3500 the internet suggests. In comparison my new Fogstar 51.2V 32kWH battery was £3199 and it is working at -4 just fine.

Verification is just to prove he is who he say's. NOT that they are fit to run any company. Which is what it should focus on.

Just waiting on the next incarnation of a energy supplier starting & people falling for it all over again 🤷‍♀️

Won't be me. I am too happy now with the system I have - I have told them in an e-mail in order to help me to help them I am willing to buy the panels - but the inverter and battery will be scrapped if they do not come and remove it by the end of March 2026. Based on History that won't happen but I hope it does.

Safely disposing of large lithium batteries can be a problem.
You might be able to give it away to a hobbyist, or even sell it; from what you've said it was only £1k or so worth when new, but you might get half that?
I'm assuming the battery is one of these:

    N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill Coop member.
    2.72kWp PV facing SSW installed Jan 2012. 11 x 247w panels, 3.6kw inverter. 35 MWh generated, long-term average 2.6 Os.
Ofgem cap table, Ofgem cap explainer. Economy 7 cap explainer. Gas vs E7 vs peak elec heating costs, Best kettle!

I've seen these batteries going for 3.5K on ebay - I never paid for it and I feel bad but I have asked and asked everyone I can. NGH, Senapt even Farouk himself and no one has come back to me - and I've been at this since October,

So I might give it away or sell it. Not sure but yes that is the one.

It is a frustrating position to be in, but I would go the extra mile in terms of communicating your plans to NGH etc. if you intend to dispose or sell something you don't actually own...
