Morning all, it's a bright but cold morning. Have done 2 loads of washing and out on the line to dry. Only about another 4 loads to go! Didn't think I'd left much when we went away but there was almost a sinful for some reason!

Did a fairly big shop yesterday and got nearly everything needed for the next week or so. Will go to the Food Warehouse on Tuesday and pick up some fish (3 for £12) and meats (3 for £12). Will also pop to Lidl while we're in Sittingbourne for various tinned beans to put in the cupboard as only a single tin of mixed beans and a few tins of baked beans in there! Want to pick up some chickpeas as well as don't like being without them as find them really useful for not only making meals but also want to make some falafels and humous this month.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F; 1
    L - scrambled eggs, spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
    D - roast pork dinner - P; S; F; 2

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - bread
    Swips - apple sauce 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    belated Happy Birthday wishes @maman

Busy couple of days but weighed in this morning and lost 2lb 😊, half a pound off my 1 stone!

One more weigh in before France, hopefully I won’t put it all back on there 😄

B - oats, fruit, Greek yogurt HE fibre

L - avocado on toast, poached eggs 6 swps and half HE fat

D - probably chilli con carne, rice few swps for a dollop of guacamole and Greek yoghurt

Sunny day here, enjoy everyone 🌞

Well done @Glad on your 2lb loss. You'll definitely have that 1 stone shiney next week before your holiday to France. I'm sure you won't put it all back on while you're away. Just be good when you can and careful when you can't.

When we go to France for a month I don't tend to put on as much as when we go to an AI resort elsewhere. I think that is mainly because I'm cooking most of our meals so they tend to be SW friendly. The biggest problem is the baguettes, cheeses and pate!

Well done on your loss @Glad 🥳 I’m in the two pound club too this week.

Welcome back @joedenise and that gain will be gone before your next holiday 😁

A lot of people were talking about the SW dauphinois potatoes and cauliflower cheese in group saying how delicious they were. I don’t normally buy the meals and the few I’ve tried I thought were very watery but I might make a detour to the frozen shop next week and try them.

On my own this weekend for meals 😁 (ps I’m not into MD in general but did receive a frying pan I wanted before DS2 trotted off 🤣) and dinner tonight is steak, baked potato and salad.

    Well done @Glad

I am hopeful of a wee loss on Monday. However DS is travelling 4 hours to see me today and we are going out for a bite. So maybe not!

Well done @Jellybaby on your 2lb loss. Don't think I've ever lost that in one week. I'm usually in the half lb club! Best I've done is 1.5lb and that was the week after a holiday so most was probably water retention!

Good luck for your WI @beanielou on Monday. Enjoy eating out later. If you really want a loss then you know you need to be careful with your choices but if you just want to enjoy it then definitely have what you fancy and then deal with the consequences next week!

Both lots of washing I hung out this morning dried by just after lunch so have done the last 2 loads and have them out on the line and hopefully they'll dry too, if not I'll have to hang it all out again tomorrow!

    Well done on your 2lb losses @Glad and @Jellybaby . Brilliant!👍🏻

You're unlikely to gain a stone on holiday @Glad. I only gain half a stone max in 3 weeks of eating mostly off plan. But. as you said, you don't get to see your DD that often so enjoy yourself and just deal with the damage when you get back.

Like you, I've found the very few SW meals that I've tried very watery @Jellybaby but I'm interested to know what the Dauphinoise is like, including the portion size. Do let us know if the recipe is on the pack.

Good luck for Monday @beanielou but enjoy your Mothers' Day treat with your DS even if it delays your wee loss by another week.

Hope the lasagne is as big a success as the fish pie @Coxy11 . I had a look at the recipe for the fish pie. Did you use a fish stock cube last week or some from poaching the fish or what?

Welcome back from your holiday @joedenise . The hotel food does sound a bit odd and good luck with seeing the gain off. I like to have a selection of beans in the cupboard too especially for chilli but we like butter beans and chickpeas with other meals too.

Thanks for all the good wishes for my birthday. Last night's meal was delicious but very rich and probably packed with swips but we had a good time which is what matters. The line is now drawn and back on plan with a vengeance for the rest of the week. I'm out dancing tonight so will be alcohol free which will help to claw back some birthday swips. I've had porridge with fruit and a ham salad so far today and will take a small SW friendly snack with me later for the interval. I should finish the day on no more than a couple of swips for LTL mayo.👍🏻

    Afternoon all 😁

Well done Jelly and Glad, i will join the loss club 1.5 🥳🥳 after my disappointment of maintain last week!

They were on about the Dauphinoise in group this morning, couple of people said they were nice but not alot of potato, but i was reading online last night and people were saying they were watery.

The new puddings are tiny! She had the packets there for promo today, you'll be lucky if they are as big a pot as GU puddings!

    Beanie enjoy your meal.

I put my washing out about 1.30 and as we were sorting the shed out it started to rain, so got it in and it was dry, but the rain soon stopped was only a few spots!

All the meringues went in group and people were asking for the recipe , there was some lovely things this morning.

I am trying something new for tea, will show you when i do it 🤣

Had a lovely meal. Steak & salad. Chips though. Had a pudding too!
Worth every bite to spend time with DS. Such a lovely human as an adult. 🤗
