Change of plan here for lunch! DD1 decided to come over as it's Mother's Day so DH and DD1 had the bacon sandwiches and I had a cheese omelette which I was quite happy about. Was only going to be bacon sandwiches to use up what was in the fridge but also only had 4 slices of bread left! That is of course on the list for Tuesday now (don't need any bread tomorrow thankfully otherwise I'd have to go out then!)

Been looking on line to see if I could find the recipes for the naan and dauphinoise and found them both. Just googled them and they're both available online on the SW blog. The dauphinoise sauce is made with cauliflower, stock, quark and yoghurt so don't think I'll even bother buying it to try it. May well make some naan breads and freeze them using the wholemeal flour has a Fibre choice.

    Evening all 😁

Hope all you Mum's have had a nice day 🥰

We went over Mum's today for a few hrs, she said i don;t know what's wrong with me i keep falling asleep, not just nodding a couple of hrs at a time, DH goes it's called old age 🤣🤣 she goes cheers Mr Bubbs 🤣🤣

Beef is on over in Morrisons too i noticed the first day we went on the chicken hunt so i bought 2 small bits (£6 each) which i thought was reasonable, just had some for tea and it was lovely, said to dh i will get a couple more now we now they are ok, i bought topside, there was silverside too, but i prefer topside.

Jelly yes try it , it was nice.

Maman yes whether it was a catch up loss i will never know, but pleased all the same.

Was nice here this morning but chilly, this afternoon got quite cold and then bloody hell lashed it down!

    Lunch was free,

Tea was 3 sv for cauli cheese, part fibre for Yorkies.

I always think weigh in day doesn't necessarily reflect what you've eaten the preceding 7 days.

Mostly rain here in Wales so the dog walk was shorter than usuall, I took some balls to throw though as that tires them out quicker.

I like the idea of making cauli cheese with quark, I've used it as a moussaka topping before.

Had some amazing looking chocs from DD, saving them for treat day 😊

Morning all, bit grey this morning but at least it's not raining. Definitely feels quite cold this morning and it's also quite windy. Forecast is for the weather to get better - we're forecast temperatures of about 18 by Wednesday and sunny! Probably the best day to get the bedding washed as it'll need doing by then!

Forgot to say that DD1's partner made me a coffee and walnut cake for Mothers Day yesterday so had a small piece of that. Going to cut up the rest of it and freeze it so it doesn't get stale and wasted.

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk - Fibre, 3 (no fruit left until I go shopping tomorrow and forgot to get frozen out!)
    L - stuffed peppers, salad - Calcium; P; S; F
    D - sweet and sour pork, rice - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk; cheese
    Fibre - weetabix
    Swips - milk 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all 😁

Glad it wasn't the food, that was fine , it was the fact how much water i drank , i am naturally a big drinker, i think i drink more in a day than my friend drinks in a week! Can be 6pm before she has a drink, i don't get that. Last week i laid off the water and went back to pepsi 🤣

Denise, wise idea about the cake if it's out you will keep having slithers , or i would 🤣

Yes supposed to be touching 20 here this week, funnily enough bedding was my 1st thought 🤣

Not sure what i am eating yet today, will be picky plate at lunchtime as that's the norm and that's what i like 😁

18, 20 degrees??!! Right, who am I staying with first? @beanilou I’ll pick you up on the way 😁

I was out earlier and it was strong winds and rain, said 4 degrees in the car,

Meeting a couple of friends for a late lunch. We always meet in the same cafe so I know I’ll have a wholemeal roll with ham salad. I’ll need to count swips for the roll as it’s a lot bigger than a fibre choice.

Dinner is L/over roast chicken, roasties and loads of veg.

    Have a good day all.

Pleased to say most of the cake is in the freezer. I've open frozen it so just need to wrap in clingfilm once it's completely frozen (not quite there yet!). DH hasn't even noticed but I have left him a slice to have today. He'll have to defrost a slice each day if he wants it!

Good luck for tonight @beanielou - it probably won't be as bad as you think. You can't change the past only the future so if it's a gain then just draw the line and get back on it. Life always gets in the way - there's only one Mothers Day a year!
