Pleased that you're getting plenty of work @Coxy11 but it's playing havoc with your mealtimes. Well done for eating the right things but obviously not as much as you'd do if you knew what to plan for. Hope you've had a good time in London.
Well done for staying with SW despite the trials and tribulations that the parents are putting you through @Jellybaby . You're a hero!😇 Good luck with the planned batch cooking. It's so helpful t have plenty of HM ready meals on hand.
It's been wild and windy here all day @bubbs but some rain too so definitely no washing. That's ridiculous about the single delivery of £2.50 chickens to Morrison's. They're trying to resurrect their market share and advertising in national newspapers so will shoot themselves in the foot if the offers aren't available.🤔
Our dentist went private some years ago so we have insurance now which covers 2 check ups and 2 hygienist appointments per person per year. . It's not cheap but you win if you need any treatment.
It's my birthday today and it's not been as bad SWwise as I thought. I had a SW breakfast (scrambled eggs) and lunch (snacked on ham, cheese, tomato in a hurry) but have had treats too. DD1 and DGD1 came round and I've had birthday cake, wine syns and they brought me my favourite chocolate marzipan which I ate half of. We were going to have a fish supper tonight but DH had to go out for a meeting ( and it seems most fish and chip shops round here close early☹️) so I'm doing comfort food (sausages, chips, beans with onions and mushrooms) when he gets back later. Tomorrow we're going out for a celebration meal which definitely won't be SW friendly.😋

Happy Birthday Maman 🥳🎂🎉 glad you have had a good day. Yes we have insurance but only pay for 1 check up each a year.
I know there was no plums or kiwi's in the first one just a massive sign advertising an empty space like the chickens 🙄
We ended up with a fakeaway, 3 sv each and naan bread fibre , bns chips

Morning all, I'm back! Got back quite late last night. Sorry I missed your birthday @maman so belated best wishes for yesterday. Enjoy your birthday meal out tonight.
First thing to say is the washing mountain is going to be a bit of a PITA with not being able to hang it out so tumble dryer is going to get a bit of a work out!
I weighed this morning and pleased it was just under 3lb gain (2.8lb) so with a bit of luck I can shift that before our next holiday (which is only 30 days away!).
Well done to everyone who has had losses and commiserations to anyone who has had unexpected gains.
Sorry your parents are being awkward @Jellybaby but well done for staying on plan - that can't have been easy.
Lots of work for you @Coxy11 which can only be a good thing from a money point of view but sounds like it's been hard work with long hours and not much to eat. Looks like you need to make sure you take some food with you just in case! I certainly wouldn't worry if no one else is eating in the office - that's their problem not yours!
Thanks for the heads up @bubbs about the Morrison's chickens - I'm going to try to get one today 🤞.
Looking forward to eating some good food! I've virtually lived on chicken and some weird salads - apple and beetroot anyone? potato salad with peas and spam type meat (but at least it wasn't smothered in mayo!) and I managed to pick out mainly potato with a few peas and no spam!
Today's plan:
B - porridge, mixed frozen berries - Fibre; S
L - stuffed peppers with chickpeas, roasted veg - Calcium 2; P; S
D - lamb casserole, mash - P; S; FCalcium 1 - milk
Calcium 2 - cheese
Fibre - porridge
Swips - none plannedHave a good day everyone.

Afternoon all 😁
Welcome back Denise, 3lb is not bad and bet some is fluid from flying, well done! Did you enjoy it?
Where you off too next?
Well today was order day, all done, car loaded for deliveries after group tomorrow. Just made lemon meringues for taster.
Picky plate for lunch, half fibre and half calcium
Fake kfc and salad for tea

The holiday wasn't bad @bubbs but not somewhere we're likely to go back to anytime soon and if we do it will be a different hotel as the one we were in wasn't brilliant. There was a lot of fried foods which seemed to be aimed at kids - chicken nuggets etc! Best meal of the day was breakfast - I had onion, pepper & cheese omelette every day followed by fruit and yoghurt or wholemeal toast & butter. Do hope some of the weight is fluid as that means it would come off quickly!
Good luck for WI tomorrow. How do you make your lemon meringues?
Change of plan for lunch as we were back much later than planned so just had couscous and roasted veg so still have one HE I could have later so may have a skinny bar.

Denise, i use wraps for the case, got 5 out of one wrap and then this lemon curd was 1 sv per tsp, i used 3 tbsp of sweetener in 4 egg whites and made all these , so just over 1 sv each and part fibre
Denise, least it was warmer than here 🤣

Morning all,
Welcome back @joedenise Glad you had a good break and not too much of a gain x
I went SM shopping with Mum yesterday then worked until 5. Luckily this week I’ve been WFH - boss barely working due to a family bereavement. Will most likely revert to Monday and Wednesday only next week but will wait to hear.
Food yesterday consisted of a toasted bagel/poached egg for breakfast then 2 x HXB for lunch! We had salmon for dinner then walked to the pub for a couple of drinks.
We are popping out today to finalise our en suite order and get something for Mum for tomorrow. Dinner tonight is FB Mo’s lasagne which I’ll prep once we’re back. We had her fish pie this week and it was amazing.Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2026 founding member 😊 Read 26 books in 2026 8/26 Currently reading Raven Black by Ann Cleeves0
