@Coxy11 that’s a great loss.
Much cooler here too now and it has rained this morning.
I’ve weighed in today on the calibrated scales and over the last 2 weeks - last Monday was a bank hol - I’ve gained 0.6kg or 1.3 lbs. Not the end of the world cos I am in maintenance but I don’t feel like it’s deserved. Heyho, onwards!
So I’m starting my June challenge today. 30 days of tracking, moving and generally being on plan. I also intend to walk 7K steps, only have 7swips (easy if I stay off the wine) and eat 7 speed foods.
B yog and blueberries
L chicken salad and a blood orange (delicious!)
D Spanish tortilla with my HE calcium choices - lots of onion in it and will have beetroot/gherkins along side and probably some leaves to make it look better on the plate.
No planned swips today

Excellent loss @Coxy11 ! Really pleased for you.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Enjoy your meal with DSis. I love Italian food.😋
What I find is that there's plenty of healthy food available on a Mediterranean holiday and I do choose my meals wisely but it's all the extras that pile on the pounds for me. Bread is a particular problem but also crisps with a sundowner and only today I was eyeing up the baclava in a local Asian store knowing that I'll be having some with ice cream in a couple of weeks.😋
Shame about the gain @Matron_Midge . It's always worse when it's undeserved.☹️ I tend to adulterate a Spanish tortilla/omelette and include other veg as well as the potato and onion. Good luck with your challenge for June.👍🏼
It's been an OK day here but gone a bit damp in the last couple of hours. Not exactly wet, just a fine mist. Don't wish the year away @bubbs . There's still another 3 weeks to the longest day!🤣
I find sewing very therapeutic @joedenise. Last week I did some hand sewing when I was sitting indoors out of the sun. It was nothing complicated, just some mindless hemming . What I particularly like is that I can listen to the radio or an audiobook at the same time, very relaxing. Hope the trousers work out well without the hassle of the stretch fabric.
We're having real comfort food for dinner tonight, really looking forward to it.
Today's plan-
B- porridge (fibre), milk (calcium), blueberries, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- Veggie omelette (P,S), salad (S)
D- sausage, chips, baked beans (F), bacon (P), onions, mushrooms (S)
Swips- BGTY sausages 20 -
1/2 on this week.

Morning all, the weather has finally broken and it's been raining since about 9 last night. Think it's just about stopped now. So glad we didn't water the garden last night! Looks like we won't need to tonight either!
Agree @bubbs that it's hard to believe we're into the sixth month of the year already. Time definitely flies as you get older!
You'll soon have that wee half lb off @beanielou; keep plodding.
Do hope it's not raining when we get to the hospital this morning for DH's appointment as the parking is quite a walk from where we actually need to go but it's the closest parking to the entrance! Definitely not well designed at all.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - Fibre; calcium; S
L - Eating out - probably going to the Harvester near the hospital so should be able to choose wisely
D - if we need anything then will probably do some ham, egg & chips - P; F or just fruit and Greek yoghurt - P; S; FCalcium - milk; cheese
Fibre - bread
Swips - ???Have a good day everyone.

Sorry about the gains @Matron_Midge and @beanielou x
That stretchy fabric sounds challenging @joedenise wish I was confident enough to make clothing! Hand hemming sounds very therapeutic @maman x

I'm confident sewing with a machine but hand stitching bores me silly which is why I always hem on the machine and why it's so important to get a matching thread otherwise it looks awful!!!

@Coxy11 a nice loss 😊 I'm out tonight with friends for a birthday tea, it's a Thai restaurant and I'm driving due to work tomorrow, so no alcohol swips. We are all on SW so nobody will have a dessert and tempt the rest of us 🤞
It rained most of yesterday, luckily not while we went for a run, much cooler now for it though. I have bought a few summer outfits now I am near my target and wearing one tonight even if we have a thunderstorm 😆I am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Just back from the hospital and were surprised to be told that DH will be having both eyes done at the same time - was expecting it to be just the right eye this time and he is already on the waiting list for the left eye and was expecting that to be around the end of the year. Still at least if they're doing both eyes at the same time then they'll only be one lot of 3 days laying flat on his back apart from being able to get up for 10 minutes every hour in order to eat/go to the loo! Today was a bit of a waste of time apart from being told that as it was just the same as was done at his normal appointments!
We ended up going to Spoons rather than the Harvester as we were out earlier than expected so just drove to the local one. I didn't spot the jacket potatoes until after I'd ordered my curry. I'm going to count it as my full day's Swips as it included a naan bread (bit bigger than a mini one but not as big as the normal size in the SM!); 2 small popadoms as well as rice. Very nice it was too. Really full up so suspect I'll just have some fruit and yoghurt this evening.
Enjoy your Thai meal @Glad.

Glad you got on okay at the hospital @joedenise. Is it better to have both eyes done at once and get the recuperation over with? Is DH a good patient? Mine would be very challenging I'm sure!! When is he scheduled to have the op?
We went to BW and Hempstead Valley shopping malls. Neither of us are shoppers so found it really tiring, BUT, did get some holiday clothing which was the main thing. We ended up in M&S cafe at BW - it was heaving. I had a JP with 3 bean chilli which now comes with smashed avocado on top. It was very filling!
We had a massive thunderstorm here whilst we were out and DS2 said the wifi/electricity went off for a bit. Rural living!!
Thai meal sounds nice @Glad - enjoy it x
