Morning all, it was a bit cloudy this morning but has since brightened up. Definitely a bit cooler but much more comfortable temperature today. Two loads of washing done, including bedding, and out on the line. There's a bit of breeze so shouldn't take too long to dry.
Shame about the small gain @bubbs - there really is no rhyme nor reason to whether we lose or gain. Sometimes it seems we lose more if we're a bit "naughty" rather than really sticking to plan like glue!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausage, bacon, mushrooms, egg, beans - P; S; F; 1
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
D - spit roasted chicken (DH is doing it on the charcoal BBQ). Not sure what we're having with it yet but suspect DH will want roast potatoes & veg! I'd rather have new potatoes and salad!!!Calcium - milk
Fibre - soft pitta
Swips - sausage 1; burger 0.5Have a good day everyone.

That was a brilliant loss @Jellybaby . Well done!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I know your losses were small @Glad and @Suffolksue but sometimes it takes more than a week for 'good' behaviour to show up properly. stick with it!👍🏼
Sorry about your gain @bubbs . I can only think your body is hanging on to the weight becasue of all the stress you've had in the past few weeks. 🤞🏼it'll come right soon. Pleased that you got an opportunity to tell the Area Manager how things really are on the ground. Well done!
It's a nice day here but much cooler with none of the forecast rain yet. Perhaps if it stays cooler @Coxy11 you could start your running again. 🤔
That was quite a journey yesterday @joedenise so pleased to hear that Joe is cooking the chicken. I agree that a salad and new potatoes would be good with it.🤞🏼
Yesterday was mostly on plan but wanted to use up some dauphinoise potatoes from the freezer. Not sure of the swips but used half a tub of Yeo Valley FF creme fraiche along with calcium choices.
Not doing much today as need to finish my book before book club tomorrow so restful afternoon planned.👍🏼
Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- ham (P), hash with various fridge veg (F,S), beetroot (S)
D- pork casserole with rice (P,S,F)
Swips- 3.5 for casserole sauce, weekend wine☺️0 -
Just finished a dress I was making so have washed that and it's on the line to dry! It's the first time I've sewn with stretch fabric and to be honest apart from using up the other piece of stretch fabric I've got I won't be buying any more. It's horrible to cut out as it slips and slides everywhere and not much better when sewing it.
I used a pattern I downloaded from the internet which is a panelled dress but it was so tight I ended up having to cut out another 4 side panels and insert those! Think I should have cut out the pattern for at least another size bigger if not two but I went by the body measurements given on the website. At least I had enough fabric to be able to do it!

Afternoon all, just had a catch up! My heart goes out to all the poorlies 🥺 my hubby is going through it too 😢.
The week before half term he got a phone call from hospital (11.30 pm on a Sunday night 🙄) Dr saying he had to go in NOW! Hubby proceeded to tell the Dr more than the Dr knew as we’d been through it all before (low haemoglobin). Anyway refused to go in that night but went 5.30pm Monday. Had transfusion which went straight through so had to have another (4 units in all). Then had to wait for levels to rise as too low for endoscopy. Finally had that, but the amount of blood found didn’t match up with the low levels so will need colonoscopy 🙄. So he was home late Thursday evening before half term. Ever since he has gone downhill fast, picked up something in hospital 😢. Hasn’t eaten more than a biscuit since 23.5. Lost so much weight it effects his dialysis as below his dry weight and they keep telling not to go below 🙄. He has had horrible tremors & bouts of 🤮. I thought sepsis, really thought it was time up one night he was so bad. To cap it all I passed out from the stress! Then all of a sudden he was better! Still very frail and struggling to stand up, very wobbly when he tries to walk. Still not eating but drinking tea & milkshakes. He has so many meds to take (has the morning, lunch, evening box too).
So it’s back to work tomorrow more exhausted than before we broke up. Son will be home with his dad but will be asleep as on nights. My phone will be on (sod the rules). Will be telling them I’m not going on the residential trip in July either! It’s our wedding anniversary during the trip and who knows if we will even see it! I need to be with him 😢.A bit of brightness, after weeks of STS (after losing 5lb) this week it’s a loss of 2lb 🤗
Sorry for the essay 🥺
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

That is so hard on both you and your DH @TakeItEazy. Do hope your DH continues to improve. Agree with you about "sod the rules" you need to be contactable when your at work.

Such a relief to read your 'essay' through to the happy ending @TakeItEazy . You've both had a tough few weeks of it. Be sure to explain the situation in school tomorrow so they can cut you some slack for this final half term.🤗
Oh and well done on the weightloss!👍🏼
That dress sounds a nightmare to sew @joedenise . I hope you're pleased with the final result.🤔

Afternoon all 😁
TIE i am so sorry you are going through this with your hubby 😪I hope he picks up and soon, please take care of yourself too 🥰 Well done on your loss 👏
Denise, well done on your dress making.
Maman she sure knows how we feel now, i said to another member, why don't AM make a fb page up and keeps us all updated, that would be better than nothing and going in and finding ANOTHER temp consultant.
Much cooler and better today, we have still not had the rain they said we were going to have, i have been ladder holding while DH went up to look at the gutters because when we had rain a couple of weeks ago it was pouring over down the windows , but they are not blocked 🤷♀️so will have to see what happens when we do have rain!
Food today.
I had egg salad ham wrap, watermlon 1 sv for ltl mayo.
Cooked a chicken this morning for chicken salad, dh doesn't want that now as not hungry 🤣so he is having chicken sarnie and i am having deconstructed chicken salad AKA picky plate 🤣

It was a nightmare @maman but the end result is quite pleasing. The only part I'm not really happy with is the neck facing. I've understitched it so help it stay inside and also sewn it to the seams at various seams but it still seems to want to come out at the back but it's OK once it's actually tucked back inside!
