Eon Next always use that it will update at midnight excuse. It's true that they go out in batches but any updates I've requested whilst on the phone have always arrived within a couple of mins. If I'd not received them within an hour then there was zero chance of them reaching me in my experience.

They are saying the ALCS is correct but it’s obviously not

I emailed the smart meter team

Looking at your chart the E7 off-peak switches on the 4th chart bar.  So not including your offset that would mean your E7 off peak is 1:30 - 8:30am.

This is just me and others may disagree but if you intend to switch to snug in a few weeks, then in your situation I would just attempt to switch to snug now.  It may take a few days but hopefully in a few days your timings would switch to snug timings.

To go back to a question from the other week, I don't see any reason why you couldn't be on snug all year around.  Just switch your storage heaters off on the wall until you get to that part of the year when you want your storage heaters to come on.  And your hot water is highly likely to be fully heated by the end of off-peak snug times, so if it came on during your final 9 minutes it would likely be very brief, so any peak with hot water would only likely be a penny or so.

Also the icons on my meter , that show the off peak is on , they seem to be on at random times

Are you talking about the contactor symbols - or some other rate indications.

The contactors - iirc EDMI Es12-b - I'd have to search back - has them on the top middle - from the photo here,

They look something like "-o/ o-" with little L and M ? next to them iirc - and the L one should come and go - but only with the alcs calander times.

I remember some discussion as to their meaning having changed with the ES10-b model - I'd have to go back through your thread - these were discussed in your late Mar thread.

The last time I wanted to see pdf full manual for the 12b posted in that thread - the links were dead.

I suspect its better to get the meter fully resolved to proper e7 - as snug fallback is old meter preset alcs timings.

And that justs means back fighting snug on e10 alcs or back to current if Rosie1001 drops off snug - e7 timings e10 alcs at some random date in futue.

    That’s off my app

I had my heating on low yesterday to try it out to make sure was working properly

Yes low is relative when start from a cold core - it takes a lot of energy in to establish a base temperature - and often a couple of days to discharge it fully after a sort of summer test.

So yes likely for the first n hours they would have been drawing quite a lot (oops not low) of power.

Edit - they probably wont do as much say tommorrow etc.
