Eon Next always use that it will update at midnight excuse. It's true that they go out in batches but any updates I've requested whilst on the phone have always arrived within a couple of mins. If I'd not received them within an hour then there was zero chance of them reaching me in my experience.1

They are saying the ALCS is correct but it’s obviously not
I emailed the smart meter team1 -
Looking at your chart the E7 off-peak switches on the 4th chart bar. So not including your offset that would mean your E7 off peak is 1:30 - 8:30am.This is just me and others may disagree but if you intend to switch to snug in a few weeks, then in your situation I would just attempt to switch to snug now. It may take a few days but hopefully in a few days your timings would switch to snug timings. To go back to a question from the other week, I don't see any reason why you couldn't be on snug all year around. Just switch your storage heaters off on the wall until you get to that part of the year when you want your storage heaters to come on. And your hot water is highly likely to be fully heated by the end of off-peak snug times, so if it came on during your final 9 minutes it would likely be very brief, so any peak with hot water would only likely be a penny or so.3

That’s off my app
I had my heating on low yesterday to try it out to make sure was working properlyYes low is relative when start from a cold core - it takes a lot of energy in to establish a base temperature - and often a couple of days to discharge it fully after a sort of summer test.So yes likely for the first n hours they would have been drawing quite a lot (oops not low) of power.Edit - they probably wont do as much say tommorrow etc.1 -
