I've looked at the stickies regarding lease cars and found three, but they all seem very old. I'm guessing the rules are still the same?0 -
You really are making a meal out of this of your own making
You been given the text to use. Now use this and no more questions please as they are not needed
No more questions include your name and address in the appeal text
Do not waste your time or anyone else's on this please
The driver at the time paid the correct amount for the correct length of stay and did not breach any alleged contractual terms. Therefore cancel the charge or pass to DCB Legal for the immediate commencement of county court proceedings, which will be defended5 -

You were given actual wording to copy & paste to put in.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"The driver at the time paid the correct amount for the correct length of stay and did not breach any alleged contractual terms. Therefore cancel the charge or pass to DCB Legal for the immediate commencement of county court proceedings, which will be defended."
then surely that's directly contradicted by the fact I inadvertently paid for 10 minutes but stayed for several hours.
That's the only exact wording I can see but it doesn't seem particularly relevant.0 -
As you are the hirer/lessee of this vehicle you could appeal just stating that you are the hirer/lessee and do not believe you are liable. Your son paid on the app in good faith and there has been no evidence of breach so ask Parkmaven for the details.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@woj1974 And just copy and paste what you are given. Its frankly irrelevant since this is a means to an end
I have said this on multiple occasions
Anything else is completely irrelevant
Come back when they turn it down. Ignore any fishing email
Please this needs no more input!!!!!!!!! It really does not need endless questions going round in circles
I dont think stuff can or needs to be any clearer2 -

And you keep saying "copy and paste what you're given", but when I directly quote the copy and paste I think you're referring to you haven't said if that's the right quote? You've asked me, abruptly, not to ask any questions. Obviously, you don't have to respond, that's within your control. My questions to anyone that does want to respond are:
1. Is Crispy Chicken referring to this quote "The driver at the time paid the correct amount for the correct length of stay and did not breach any alleged contractual terms. Therefore cancel the charge or pass to DCB Legal for the immediate commencement of county court proceedings, which will be defended."
2. Is that even relevant if its easily proved that we only paid for ten minutes (because of the unfamiliarity of the app etc) but stayed several hours?
3. Can I appeal on the grounds that Parkmaven didn't contact me within the correct period of time? That is, they were posted two letters transferring liability, but didn't do this for months. This seems like a really good grounds for appeal to me rather than a provably false claim on our part.
Thanks for your patience with me.

To save anyone anyone else the bother all you do is what someone else has said and it is this
The driver at the time paid the correct amount for the correct length of stay and did not breach any alleged contractual terms. Therefore cancel the charge or pass to DCB Legal for the immediate commencement of county court proceedings, which will be defended."
2 and 3 are irrelevant and you are completely over thinking this.
This is simply going round in circles otherwise.

Point 3 is surely relevant, as they have processes they MUST follow, surely. I can't understand why you think this is irrelevant.
