Landed a new job with better work / life balance. Does that count? 🤔😉
Responded to draft minutes from parish council with a couple of comments. Always a boring job … 😉

Positioned the Etsy impulse buy pots on the newly painted random strip of wood where we removed the privacy screen from unpleasant neighbour. He can stare all he likes lurking from his window this Summer!
Went to the garden centre and bought a compost scoop (how have I managed to get to this life stage without one?!), a solar lantern (naughty impulse buy), a pack of six black violas and two pork pies all for under twenty quid paid for with some paper money so it never happened did it?

@Sallyforth - sounds like a very imaginative way to use that £20 note.@KajiKita - well done you! That's brilliant news.
two 5 minute bursts today means that my baking supplies are sorted, organised and ready for after Lent when I can make a cake. I did declutter half a bag of chocolate chips. Fortunately they were not part of a cake, just a stand alone scoff.3 -
Well done @KajiKita 🥳 Now that’s what I call an achievement. Those pots are gorgeous @Sallyforth, a real Mexican vibe going on there.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Lovely pots Sallyforth. Actually you have reminded me that I also decluttered a £20 note today (three balls of proper wool, more curtains, and another shallow bowl for the bird baths) when I dropped some things at the charity shop.
OATwise, more stuff dropped off at said charity shop, and some major decluttering while watching two episodes of Sort Your Life Out. A mix of bin/confidential waste/move to the right place but again my bedroom is looking and feeling much better.
tomorrows task will be to remove the bag of base coat plaster that has been next to doorway for at least twelve months. It's probably long since perished and I have no idea why he left it there. I have stepped over it so many times that I almost don't see it anymore. Shame I didn't remember when we had the last skip actually. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Hello I would like to join . I have many OATS to do. Most of them aren't mine for the admin ones. I look after my mother's admin as she is in a nursing home with dementia. I have been doing this for 8 years now.
My house also needs attending to. With work and the admin I have to do . This gets left till last. Weekend I I hope to tackle the house work.
I managed 2 tasks today
Shopping
Sending a parcel back.
Tomorrow is
Complete yearly report for my mom.
Change ink cartridge

Actually did a genuine OAT! 😊
I had a whole set of little pots with bulbs potted up in them completely filling the potting tray in my potting shed. After several weeks there has been no sign of life … This evening I have swept them up onto a tray and carried them through the house and into the conservatory. They have been threatened with composting if they don’t stir themselves into activity! 😉😂
That then clears the potting shed for seed sowing! 😊👏

Very pleased for you but does not count @KajiKita, you wanted a good well paying job with better work/life balance 😂
Blimmin well done to you though 🥂
Fab responding to boring email and seed manoeuvres work
@Sallyforth while it is of course imperative to be mse, that sounds a great haul for under twenty quid! So happy for you that you're getting your garden done as you like, I love the splash of cheery yellow.
Very envious of your beautiful blue sky. It's been cloudy-sunny in London with more emphasis on the cloudy!
If neighbour wants to stare then that's his choice. Maybe this summer you can sunbathe topless in your smashing new garden to give him something to really look at
Excellent supplies sorting @Blackcats and such brave decluttering of those chocolate chips 💪😂
That is such good progress @redofromstart, well done. How good is it going to be when that bag of plaster is gone!
Nice to see you here @I_Love_comps, that's a lot on your plate. Sounds like you've had a productive day and hopefully this thread can help with getting those OATS done!
Um excuse me @rachmac3, yesterday you did a job that had been OATing for six months! If you need a day or two off recharging then recognising that is also being productive, and we'll have none of your 'been a bit crap'!
