Continuing with the tediousesses is the name of the game for getting things done @Sallyforth!
Well done on second coat, great news on the rapid refund, and good thinking to make the most of the discount and points
Sorry to hear about the row @Makingabobor2, rows always leave an unpleasant feeling and a lack of energy to do anything else don't they. Is there a small win you could do like sending an email or neatly refolding an unruly clothes drawer? Or something nice that's productive like getting on with a book or magazine?
Any shredding you do is a big OAT @redofromstart!
Fab you got loads done in the garden1 -

I could @redofromstart but since the little b*gger has literally been eating the freezer I don't feel like anything is safe now! I will give that job a week's breathing space to see what the state of mouse affairs is.
I'm telling myself it is also very Smashing March to not do jobs that aren't hugely urgent just because they're there if they're potentially going to create unnecessary problems!1 -
@PennysIntoPounds if you don't have any cats or dogs you can try peppermint oil to get rid of Mr Mouse, they don't like the smell, but be careful as it is poison to cats and dogs up to being deadly for them.£71.93/ £180.002

It is supposed to work for spiders too, we use it a lot here, up on the beams where the cats can't get at it. Makes the house smell of polo mints which isn't a bad thing. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I sorted out the tinned food cupboard. I took it all out, cleaned the shelf and put the tins back on three lazy Susans I bought. We have an awful lot of tinned Heinz soup. I kept buying them when they were on offer.😁 We got caught out when we both got ill at the same time last year and I said I would keep emergency soup in the house. I think I have taken it a bit too far.4

sorted out my seeds and pots to get going with some flowers plus some veg as Spring is definitely on its way.The snowdrops are just going over now and the primroses are looking great. I bought my DD some gladioli bulbs to go in our garden as she's never grown them before fingers crossed they will do well as they are bright scarlet ones.
We have been planning out the garden as we only moved here last July and we wanted to wait and see what was already in there.
The weather today has been glorious and I got a whole wash loaded line of washing virtually dry
Bit of spring cleaning to do tomorrow as my little sitting room windows want cleaning and the big ones in the main sitting room my son-in-law has already done so I will do the kitchen and my sitting room ones tomorrow as the forecast is good

Thanks all for the peppermint oil comments. Pest control has been booked today for next week. I don't want to upset the spiders!
Did the social media admin, and enquired about selling the laptops.
Tomorrow I have a Dr's appt that I do not have energy for, so that will be my main extra thing! Will assess what else can be done after that
