Ooh yes, I'd love one for April too! 😊1

Sounds a good idea. Maybe if it starts at the beginning of the month I won't read every comment & think - that needs to be added to my list.1

(Not a euphemism)Today I finally turned up the hem on a new pair of joggers for my dad. Honestly these blooming joggers have been hanging around, jogging nowhere, for months. I used the sewing kit my mum had made herself which seemed fitting. It's a glass jar containing scissors, a thimble, a tape measure, safety pins and a selection of threads. Mum had made a padded pincushion on the top of the jar which had needles and pins in it. She had tied a jaunty ribbon round the rim of the jar. It's a handy kit - thanks mum x6 -
Do you mean we won't all have our lives in perfect order in a week's time @KajiKita @Cheery_Daff @badmemory 😲😂
I expect an April thread can be arranged, but only if we're all very good and smash the last week of March! 😂✔️

I'd be up for April too. I spent today sorting through stuff in our bedroom, trying to be ruthless and probably exited half of everything. Watching Sort Your Life Out at the same time does help.
I also went through all the paper on my desk, binning, shredding or adding to the file pile as appropriate. The next job is to get everything down from the shelf above my desk and sort that. Mostly work related so should be shredded or burned if it's notebooks and diaries. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Another small win here ….
Tidied away a whole heap of leggings, jumpers and scarves that were cluttering up my bedroom. It didn’t take too long as there was actually enough space in my drawers for them after the clearing out I did last year 😊

I did, however, sort out all my receipts & bag detritus as promised, and I have spent the evening trying to get my head round these curtains. I think I'm there (regretting making them from patchwork duvet covers though 😂😂 far too much lining up of things for my liking!)
I reckon I can have the first pair made by the end of tomorrow 😮 the time consuming bit is the measuring and deciding what order to do things, and I've done much of that now.
Second pair may take a little longer as I need assistance re-installing the curtain pole (taken down several years ago to be repurposed in a different room. it's never been used though so I'm stealing it back - but in the meantime, I've filled in and painted over the screw holes... 😬)2 -
I read and signed 4 work policies this evening which means I am no longer overdue! Another 7 to do before the end of the month though.
I need to start putting some suggestions for oats on my phone. I think of good ones when I see them, then conveniently forget them again almost instantly (there's a reason they're OATS).
I do need to see if I can get my outside camera linked up to the app again. It stopped working before Christmas and I'm still paying for the subscription. That's a horrid task because it's so frustrating.
I also need to ask my pantry mouse to leave the premises now it's stopped dropping below freezing at night.
And book a doctors appointment for a ferritin blood test, which I should have done at least a year ago.
I really need to sort out a few clothes, try some on, then donate or keep and move to the wardrobe. I lost a lot of weight over the last year but most of my clothes are 5 to 10 years old so I have no clue what fits anymore and I want to declutter the clothes before I buy more.
I'll do one of those tomorrow but try to get all four done by the end of March.Debts 04/01/25 01/07/25
