Did the kitchen drawer shuffle this evening whilst cooking dinner (I’m using the term ‘cooking’ loosely here - think pulling things out of freezer and throwing them through oven / air fryer - healthiest element was the frozen peas that I boiled! 😉). Mr KK seemed somewhat put out that I had moved things without consulting him but waiting on him to get involved would have taken a month of Sundays! 😉😂

Excellent doings and plans all.
I am going to dedicate tomorrow to Friday Listings, so my additional tasks will be:
Put this clothes pile on vinted
Take pics and list a vase
List some good quality vintage earrings on the various places
I find listing things incredibly tedious so I will be very pleased with myself if I can do a listing between all the other jobs for the day
If I'm brave enough I'll book an opticians appointment but that is allowed to roll over if I'm too weary

Just checking in - everyone is doing so well! I've had a couple of office days so this has scuppered my marching, it's been more a snails pace but I have done a few jobs round the house that were routine.
This afternoon my plan is;
Clear my work emails (time block where any actions are needed) so inbox zero by the end of the day
Clean room where I WFH so I start Monday off nice and fresh
Shred all papers currently sat in the 'waiting' box (I like to keep receipts for a week or so before I shred, and as I haven't done my budget since last Friday I know all the receipts are over a week old
Look at layout of the study as I'm not optimising my light and I could do with having a cupboard next to me for more space for notebooks, brew etc as my desk is quite small
Finally, look at how I am organising myself - I'm getting better but I need someway of recording daily objectives so I can build habits i.e. exercise for 30 mins, drink 2l water... what does everyone use for this? Is it effective? Bonus if the habit auto reset each day and even bigger bonus if there are stats that tell me how I have done...

This is an excellent idea for a thread - can I join you?
I'm currently having a sneaky weekend at the seaside 🙈 but have a lot of little annoying jobs for when I get back. Before the end of March it would be great if I could have:
* fitted the headboard back onto the bed (it's been off since before the building work, well over three years ago 😬
* re-attach a panel that fell from the ceiling
* finish making curtains for the craft room
* finish making the sofa cushions
Those last 2 things will create quite a bit of space in the craft room for other projects.
I'll likely add other tasks, but I don't want to turn this into a massive list right now!
Good luck all 😊 enjoying reading about your exploits 😊4 -

Great list @Spendywendywoo. I just write aims on my daily to-do list and they stare balefully at me until done!
Most welcome @Cheery_Daff, those would be excellent achievements
Well done @beanielou
I managed to do all the planned listings today so very pleased with that. Opticians is on the to-do list for when I can envisage having actual energy for it
As tomorrow is Saturday and there are already plenty of tasks on the list, I shall just aim to get as many done as possible but I will make sure one of them is an Outstanding Annoying Task, or OAT as I will now be calling them as I'm easily amused 😁2 -
Ooh, that's an excellent name for them! 😁3

No progress on OATs for me, paying the price for doing too much yesterday. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Less tasks ticked off the list today but still making progress.
this thread has helped me see how many of my tasks relate to my dad. I don't mind doing them as they all help to keep him safe and well at home, however, it's his chores that tend to get done first and then I run out of va va voom to tackle our tasks. I think writing it all down helps with prioritising and sequencing as well as motivating me to get on with things.
