3 policies read before bedtime, 13 left for another day(s).
Those 3 were overdue, there's another 4 due by the end of the week.
    I've made a good start.
Tomorrow's priority is posting that letter though!

Morning all, bright but cold here.  I have written out the details for the insurance, DS will need to give his consent for them to discuss it with me first even though I am a named driver and its my credit card (which is why it hasn't been sorted yet - he hates using the phone too).

I need to find something to do that doesn't involve needing to have a shower/get changed before I go out later.  There is plenty of paperwork to sort out but I just don't want to (waily waily waily). I have found a reasonably priced local confidential waste service so I just need to make myself get on with it.

ETA minor progress, I have emailed them back to ask if they accept notebooks/diaries or if it is just loose paper.  I could burn them I guess but the local f/book gets very animated about bonfires.

    Post that letter @rachmach3!

Good going so far @redofromstart. Would a fire pit be acceptable?
Could you do a 15 minute sort to start you off and then go and read a book or go for a stroll?

My main extra aim today is work out what to do about stranger mouse. Did not need its appearance at midnight in the bedroom last night!
    Other aims are to:
-Sort out a dragging enquiry with TfL
-Reply to a letter from my penpal friend
-Try to gain some thought progress on what to do with two ancient broken laptops that were my dad's. Would be nice to get a couple of quid for them but not sure if that's possible or where from. Don't really want to chuck them in electricals recycling as I don't know if there's old confidential info on them that could be retrieved and misused

    Update for yesterday:
🏵️ Finally make a decision about 2 regular savers - I decided to apply for both of the Principality 6 month and the Skipton Member RS
🏵️ Set my potatoes up for chitting - Yes it took less than 5 minutes to gather seed potatoes, egg boxes, marker pen, put them in place and tidy up 🤦 why did I keep putting this off?
🏵️ Read my magazine for half an hour - I read for 25 minutes while OH cooked dinner

My friend got in touch to ask as my garden waste bin was full, if I would like to fill theirs as they have nothing to put in it and it is collected this week (fortnightly collection). I popped around, collected the bin, filled it with stuff we had already cut down and returned it when I went to collect the eldest, we still have a pile to put straight into ours after it is collected. This will be a good help with our project to reclaim our garden this year.

    Today's plans:
🏵️ Set up 10 email filters
🏵️ Change my email address with 3 banks
🏵️ Write out a plan for reclaiming the garden in year 1, this is a huge project and after many years it feels like a number of factors have lined up to make a noticeable difference this year.

The first 2 are part of me tackling my digital "paperwork" which is something I want to make more manageable, like @Sallyforth I have systems for actual paperwork it is mainly my system for my virtual digital admin that needs improving.

Today's two tasks I have been saying I will do since I've been here for more than a month are:
    • Tidy bedroom enough so yoga mat and bands can be left by the side of my bed so I can actually do my physio exercises for my back instead of thinking/talking about said exercises
    • Change back room and bedroom curtains over so that bedroom at least can have curtains that open properly...back room can wait...
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
